Electric Snow Boots was pretty simple: take a classic look, infuse it with the most advanced heating and weather protection technologies, add battery-powered heat-on-demand and conquer the world. Columbia is still working on the world domination part, but the resulting winter boot is a true tour-de-force. Full-grain pearlized leather and split suede leather combine for a smooth, durable upper while the faux fur lining adds cozy comfort in an easy on, easy off package that is seriously convenient. The new full-length Techlite® Sorel shell is super lightweight (almost half as light as previous versions) and is skinned with TPU-coated leather for durability. A triple-shot of Omni-Heat® technology delivers unstoppable warmth: 200 grams of insulation gets a boost from the thermal reflective lining while Omni-Heat electric delivers heat-on-demand at the push of a button for those times when body heat just isn't enough. Built-in rechargeable batteries provide three temperature settings for maximum protection from the cold. A dual compound lug pattern on the rubber outsole of the Bugaboot Plus Zip Electric Snow Boots is weather sensitive with varying hardness depending on terrain, so you get greater traction in all cold weather conditions.
