With the Columbia Sportswear Men’s Bugaglove Max electric Omni-Heat® electric technology delivers three different levels of heat on demand powered through a lightweight, durable Techlite® battery compartment that sits at back of hand where it won’t get in the way. Also, the Bugaglove forgoes waterproof bladders that simply lead to a soaked outerlayer, instead employing an innovative Outdry membrane that cancels water from the outside in. Interior heat and sweat easily diffuse, resulting in a lighter weight, drier, and much warmer wear. Thermal regulation is further enhanced with Omni-Heat insulation and thermal reflectivity, which work in conjunction to create a super-heating glove with low loft and great dexterity. A precision fit grip offers great articulation and fits naturally around your ski pole, while the premium cowhide palm patch provides further grip and abrasion resistance. A one-hand shock cord allows you to adjust your gauntlets on the fly without removing your gloves.

The product is poorly designed. There are wires along the length of the fingers, but there are no wires to the thumb. Hence, if you want to use these gloves because of intolerance to cold , your thumb has no protection. For gloves that cost this much, it makes no sense to heat the fingers and not the thumb. Also, you get better heat from chemical warmers inside a good mitten than you do from these gloves and the warmers last more hours than the battery.
