Nice fleece
This is a nice lightweight fleece. Lost softness upon laundering. I'm 5'4 135 pounds and the small is perfect with a tee or tank underneath. For the money, I'll stick with Patagonia or northface which stay soft with washing. The color is lovely.

Very Happy!
I bought this fleece for a friend for Christmas and she loves it! It's warm and a great fit. She hasn't been able to test it in the wind yet, but I'm sure it'll hold up!

My favorite lightweight jacket
I purchased the green one about one year ago. I still adore it. Beautifully bright light green color. I wear it when it's in the upper 40's to 50's outside. Anything cooler needs warm layers or a sweater. It offers some wind protection especially when layers are beneath it. In short sleeves I sometimes get chilly when there's a cool breeze. It washes easily; in fact, I have washed it several times. No wear on it at all, and it air dries within a couple of hours. I don't put it in the dryer. As for fit, it is not boxy nor really fitted. I actually prefer a somewhat fitted look as I have some curves and like to accentuate my waist. This jacket accentuates it enough for me. I am 5'7" and I wear a small in Columbia tops and an 8 in bottoms. I ordered the Medium in this jacket and the fit is perfect, especially when I wear a sweater or layers beneath. I absolutely love this jacket. One of my better purchases.

My Mother loves the color and comfort. It's warm and durable.

Excellent quality from Columbia
I like the colors, too. Ordered the turquoise color. It was 37 degrees when I went trail running this morning, and the jacket kept me warm. This is my second Columbia fleece jacket, and the first one is still going strong!

warm, soft & nicely fitted
It's not a wind breaker so in strong winds it can get chilly, as with most fleece jackets you would need an outer layer for a windy night. but is a lovely soft warm fleece made of nice thick material. I love the shape and the fit is perfect. I find the Columbia brand to be very flattering, i actually prefer to my TNF fleeces. For reference, I am 5' 7" and about 115lbs. I purchased the small in Orchid, it's a beautiful color and i am very happy. I plan on ordering a few more of this particular fleece. also a few more of the "just right" hoodie which i have in black. I love them both.

I ordered this jacket before ordering one of the Benton Springs Women's Fleece Jackets and was worried that this jacket would be too thin and not warm. The jacket is thinner than the Benton Springs one, but only slightly! Fleece is very soft and warm. I bought this in black and it looks great!

I have only had the jacket for a couple weeks, so I can't comment on its durability, but so far it has been really warm. Seems like it's designed well, and it keeps my body heat in.

AMAZING! :D
The reason I got this jacket is because I wanted a jacket that was heavier than a sweatshirt, but lighter than a winter jacket. This jacket is all i wanted and more. I love the warmth it provides and I love how soft the fleece is. The big pockets are a big plus and I like the fact that there isnt a hood to get in the way. I am 5'10 and got a large jacket and it fits almost perfectly. The only thing I'm not to fond of is that you can feel the wind through your jacket although this jacket does provide better protection than a sweatshirt. Over all this is an amazing jacket and I would reconmend it for anyone who just wants a light jacket that keeps you warm indoors and outdoors.

Wonderful jacket!
The burnt henna is a very flattering medium coral red color.
The fleece is soft, dense and warm. It's so comfortable you could sleep in it.
The zippered side pockets are easy to get to and deep.
I'm 5'10", 135 lbs and usually wear a 10 jacket so I ordered the medium which I found a little larger than I wanted since I live in the deep South and only plan to wear a shirt, light sweater or T underneath. If you plan to add more layers, it's probably a true to size medium.
Also, the sleeve length is perfect for long arms.

snuggly soft and cozy
Love this style of columbia fleece! It is very feminine and follows your curves. The mp3 player pocket on sleeve comes in handy. Great for cool summer nights and early fall. I look forward to wearing it this winter to keep warm around the house and as a warm-up at the YMCA.

Warm, durable and cosy soft with a good fit. Easy to wash and dry fast. Good to wear as that warm, middle layer for excercise under a waterproof or windproof jacket.

Love Columbia
I own half a dozen columbia fleece jackets. They are always perfect for fall or spring because they offer a little warmth and I always want to bring something along in case I get cold. I have bought other light jackets for this purpose, but always end up grabbing my columbia on the way out of the door. For college students who go out a lot, it's a great purchase since it isn't a huge expense if it gets lost, but great when it's too cold at night. And it washes up great!

Great Jacket
I am very pleased with this jacket. It is soft, light weight and keeps you at the right temp without cooking you. It is a little on the baggy side though. If you want a more form fitting jacket, I would order a size smaller. You will be happy with your purchase. Very nice jacket!

I love this jacket so much I bought it in three colors. It looks nice on, it hasn't pilled, and I love the little pocket on the sleeve. I'm 5'5", 140 and the medium fit great.

great for Midwest weather
I wear fleece 3 seasons, as a jacket Spring and Fall, and as a layer under winter coats.
These are nice and have washed very nicely. I expect them to last for several seasons.

Great buy!
This is slowly becoming one of my favorite pieces in my closet! I wear it everywhere! It's super warm, especially when you're walking around in chilly weather. It definitely holds heat in. There's some wind protection, but it's better to layer for that. The material is soft, but durable. The fit is actually perfect and I bought a small but just for comparisons' sake, I'm a size 4. It's not too tight but definitely shows that its fitted around the waist (i.e. it's not baggy at all). I bought mine in oxide blue and the color is vibrant and a little brighter than the picture.

Comfy but boxy
I ordered this fleece as a layer to pack with me for a 2 week trek in Peru. It will do the job: it's warm, thick, and comfortable. The fit is fairly boxy and unflattering, however. I am 5'5" and 125 pounds and ordered the small. I would have preferred a fleece that was a little slimmer through the waist; this fits like a square. That said, it was a good price and good value, so I don't think I'll return it.

Not for me..........
I am very petite & like things a little loose rather than tight. I ordered a small, which is what I always wear & what my other fleece jackets are- neither of which are Columbia. Sadly, I am returning it today since it is smaller than expected & longer as well. The material is soft & the color is beautiful, but I'm not reordering this in Medium, since the small is too long I'm sure the next size up would be longer.

Just right!
Bought this for my wife a bit ago and she loves it! As for the details, I am a guy, so I am going to relay my wife's comments in her own words so that I don't mess it up:
1. Fit- Sometimes you buy a fleece and it is cut to fit a box. Other times it is cut for the curviest woman alive. This is the perfect inbetween. It is form fitted enough so I don't look like I borrowed it from my husband, but not too tight that I can't fit a layer or two underneath for added warmth. Pretty true to size for most columbia products.
2. Feel- Not too bulky , not too thin. It is thick enough to be plenty warm, but I don't feel like I am wearing a thick sweater.
3. Style- My husband always likes these very technical looking jackets. I just like simple lines and no frills. Again, this jacket falls right in the middle. I didn't think I would like having a pocket on the sleeve either, but it is nice for holding my ipod while running or walking with the kiddo. In fact, if I am not using it, it's hard to even feel that it's there.
If you are wanting to find a fleece that is the middle ground on almost every feature, this is it!

great lightweight jacket
I bought this as a gift for my mom and she loves it! She keeps telling me how it's the perfect light-weight fleece. It has a very nice fit--not baggy around the middle like some fleece jackets. I can't comment on durability as she hasn't had it very long but we've always had good experience with Columbia products. I wouldn't recommend it for winter if you're cold-natured like me, but for Spring/Fall it would be great! Certainly can't be the sale price with Altrec either!!

good for cool weather
this fleece is great if you prefer your clothing to be form fitting; make sure to buy a size smaller than usual. Performs well in cold conditions but can be on the colder side with wind.

Great for the price
This jacket really delivers for the price. It is a warmer fleece and has a bit of style; the seams flatter. I washed it right off (comes smelling a bit like plastic, like all fleece) and it did not shrink in the wash (machine washed on cold and it was hung to dry).
A head's up for those with extra sensitive skin, the arm pocket is nylon on the inside (see picture of sleeve turned inside-out).

Love this fleece
I was looking for a fleece jacket for New Hampshire falls/springs. This is perfect. The styling is slimming and it fits on the slim side. I am always torn between mediums and smalls (small chest, broad shoulders). I went with the medium and it is perfect. I can wear a light to midweight sweater under it and it's not too tight. The sleeves are the perfect length for me.
I wore it daily for several months and it looks new. I've washed it a few times and it hasn't pilled at all.
If you're on the fence, go for it, you won't regret it!

Love It!
This jacket is lightweight yet very warm. It has a fitted shape that is very attractive. I wear it in the cold Chicago winters under my wool coat and I am toasty warm. I also like the ID/MP3 pocket for carrying a key. Great buy!

Elegantly simple
I could not be happier with this purchase. I bought the jacket in two neutral colors, Mud and Greenscape, that can be dressed up or down. This works either as an outer jacket, midlayer, or indoor warmth layer. The collar is comfortable when zipped up against the wind, or when unzipped and laying open. The workmanship is very good, as are the fabric weight and quality. The medium size fit me perfectly (5’7” and 130 lbs). The sleeves are on the long side but perfect for my long arms. Zipped side pockets contribute to the form-fitting cut, and the sleeve pocket is a nice added touch.

Cozy jacket, plain shape and color
I bought this on sale for about $35 and it is a great value, with good fleece quality and solid construction. Although it is a tapered waist and lean silhouette, it still gives a shapeless effect, at least on my flat-chested figure it does. The size is good - I bought a Small and I wear 6. A person who is size 8 might be better in a Medium. Length is to the hip bone.
The color of mine was not quite as pictured. It is called Deep Teal and it looks like a dark blue-green on my computer screen. But the actual fabric is a dark gray-blue. Indoors it just looks like dark gray.
I will get good use of this as a practical and neutral jacket - just not a flattering shape or appealing additional layer (drab color).

Not what I was looking for
This jacket would probably work OK as just a daily wear fleece, but I was looking for something that would work better as a top layer for winter runs. The lack of a drawstring at the waist was a deal-breaker, esp. since the jacket runs a little large (I'm 5'7"/115, and the XS was very roomy). Also, the media pocket on the left arm is very small--unless you have a Nano, it's not going to work. All in all, it's going to be going back.

Great cozy fleece!

Perfect Gift
I bought this as a gift for my sister and she just loved it. The fit was perfect! She is very cold natured and says it is the warmest and softest fleece she has ever had. The small side pocket is perfect for keys and/or her ipod. She liked it so much that she told me to buy her another one!

This is a nice jacket, however, I bought it as a gift and she wants a draw-cord at the jacket hem. I would keep it for myself but it is not my size. For this reason, I will be returning it and ordering a different style of Columbia jacket.

Great fleece for the price
This fleece is incredibly warm. I work at a hospital where the AC is required to stay on and it gets really cold. This fleece does a great job keeping me at a comfortable temperature. The color looks great. Dislikes: I'm a petite and usually fit an extra small perfectly but it was a tad too big. Wish they had petite sizing. Also it could use a flap under the zipper so that the zipper lining doesn't scratch your neck once it's zipped up al the way. Other than that, it's really feminine and sleek, a nice everyday fleece.

Satisfied
This is the best purchase I have made in a while! I love the deep gray color, the fit is true to size (I'm 5'7, 130 lbs, size small), and the jacket is quite warm. I recently wore the jacket in 38 degree weather with a scarf and was comfortable and warm.

Nice but sweaty
While this is a nice fleece, I found the material shiny and unusually warm...this is a fleece that despite being relatively thin would make you sweat. I'd rather spend more money for a nicer quality fleece.

good, but a bit lightweight
first, the fit runs large. usually a fitted jacket is too snug for me. typically i am a medium, but because this is fitted, i opted for the large. it was much too large. overall seems pretty boxy in general. the material was also thinner than i was expecting. but if you are looking for something roomy and relatively thin, this may work great for you. overall quality was good.

Good Material
My regular size is Medium. Based on the reviews i purchased a large one. I am sending it back for a medium. I do not think that they run small. I think they are pretty true to size. Nice length, too.

A must have
I ordered this jacket and it arrived on time, which pleased me. It is warm and fits very well. I use this jacket on a daily basis. it goes well with a casual pair of jeans or with my work clothes. The only down side to this jacket was that i ordered the winter white and it gets dirty easily, which is what i was scared off, but it does wash well. I would recommend this jackt to all women since it's so light weight and has great comfort.

The color is lighter than what it appears to be on the webpage. The jacket is comfortable, nice and warm. The material seems more wind proof than the cheaper Columbia version. It´s worth the price, nothing more. Nothing less.

This fleece is cut a bit small, which is perfect for me since I tend to be between small and medium and can never decide which size to order. I like the fit and styling, so I may order this in other colors.

I really like this jacket. I always wear a size small in jackets, but this one was really tight. There was no way I could wear anything but a thin t-shirt under it, and even then it was snug. So I returned it for a medium.

Stop looking and buy this one...in several colors!
All of the other five ratings were right on! This jacket fits great...nice and shapely, but not too fitted. I personally like the longer sleeves! This jacket is hard to find, so buy it here because they have the most colors and sizes! The colors are a bit tricky...I got tank and probably should have known it was greenish. Like it and will probably keep it because I'm addicted to these, but I'm going back for others!

Perfect for layering
I bought this fleece as a piece to be worn on it's own or layered under a rain jacket/ski parka. It works very well for layering as it has a nice slightly fitted shape. Good mid-weight fleece.
Because the cut is fitted, the sleeves could use a bit of articulation. They do not have articulation, so I had to size up to feel comfortable when I bend my arms.
All in all this is a great basic piece at an excellent price.

Great jacket, great fit. Pretty much perfect.
Love, love this jacket. I have the winter white which is very soft and lovely (I returned the Patina & the Nico colors - a little too fruity I thought). I got both a S & M originally and kept the Small; I am 5'6/125lbs and an ordinary size 6, and the M was way too big/long/frumpy. The small is form fitting but not tight and is tailored perfectly. The price is great too and I may even order another color because I think I'll get that much wear out of it.

This fleece is slightly fitted, so it flatters the figure, but it still allows room for movement. It's really soft and a decent weight. It'll definitely provide warmth as well as style.

comfy form fitting jacket
I bought two jackets, one black and the other, as it turned out, a brownish-wine color. I sent this one back because in the online photo, it looked to be brown. I like the promptness with which Altrec sent my jackets, but it has been two weeks since I returned the one jacket and I have yet to see a refund on my card.

fast trek fleece jacket too small
Columbia products are top notch. The sizing on this jacket was a surprise! I have always worn a Small-Medium in Columbia clothing, but this Medium was very snug all over! Had to send it back. Would order the large to try if there weren't more shipping and returning charges involved. If the large didn't fit, I would end up spending about $30.00 in shipping altogether and end up with nothing!

Great Fleece
The color selection far exceeds what one would find in a store. The fit is feminine and true to size. The weight seems good, although I haven't had an opportunity to wear it since it has been unseasonably in the upper 80's since it arrived. It should be perfect for most wear and has plenty of zipper pockets.

Warm, soft, fuzzy, and light!
My boyfriend bought me this jacket and it keeps me really warm during my morning jogs. What I especially love about it is that its very light so it doesn't bog me down while I'm running nor does it make me feel too sweaty either. Other jackets let the cold air in but this one keeps you nice and sealed. Its very soft both inside and out. I recommend it for jogging, hiking, or going out on a cold morning!

Very flattering of the female shape, great features (many pockets). Also, Altrec seems to offer more colors and sizes than usual. I'd initially spotted this in a Sport Chalet on sale and wanted a certain color in a certain size. I found it online here, although paid more than I expected; however, it was what I wanted.
