Great winter boots, daily walking
November 11, 2010

Although it hasn't snowed yet here in the NE coast, I've worn these boots a few times on cold days. They're very warm and comfortable. I take a size 5 and these come up just beneath my knee (I'm petite), the lacing makes them very adjustable. I find that they slip easily on and off as well, so no struggling to get them on. My main reason for buying these boots is that I walk my children to school daily and wanted something that's going to keep me very warm with great traction when winter is here. They also look super cute too, I got them in the Black/Tarte combo.

Great Boots, but too small
July 01, 2011

I just received these boots, and they look great! I wore them around my house for awhile and my feet were almost sweating they kept them so warm! They are a little bulky around the ankle, but not too bad. I love everything about these boots, but they are just too small. I need a half size bigger ( I ususally wear an 8, but an 8 was just a little too small). Unfortunately there are no half sizes available, so I have to return the boots. Otherwise the boots would have been great!

Great Boot! Great Customer Service!
December 20, 2010

I love these boots! The web site's description and list of details is spot on. The boots are wonderfully constructed, light weight, warm and stylish. I ordered the Cordovan/British Tan pair. I have owned Columbia boots before. I had a pair of Columbia Bugazip boots that I have had for seasonal trips to the snow in California. This is my first winter in Santa Fe. I shoveled snow for less than an hour and the rubber shoe part of my boots began to crumble! Had I purchased them at I would have had them replaced for free with the lifetime warranty. I would not have tried another pair of snow boots by Columbia had I not had a warranty like this in place, this is peace of mind for me. The price of the boots dropped in less than 1 week, customer service (not out sourced) credited my Visa immediately. Excellent business example, especially during the holidays when customer service can be non existent. I am proud to say that has my business for all of my athletic gear throughout the seasons!

Pros: Great design, Performance, Ease of use, stylish/functional

Nice But Runs Small
July 01, 2011

The boots look exactly like on the website; I am very happy with the look! I usually wear a 7.5/8 so I ordered an 8, but the boot is too small. So, I'm returning the boots only because they are too small. Everything else about them is great! They are a bit bulky around the ankle, but what winter boots aren't? Overall, Good look and feel, but too small.

So Happy!
January 17, 2011

These boots are definitely one of the smartest purchases I've made for living in New England! So comfortable and cute. I get nothing but compliments on them and can wear with so much versatility. Tucked in to jeans or leggings, with a dress or under pants, it all works and looks good. It says the warmth from the new Omni-Heat technology Colombia came out with can go down to -25 F. Luckily we usually aren't in that kind of cold but I feel like I would still be plenty warm and toasty! I wore them the other day outside with no socks & my jammies on to help my boyfriend bring in wood and could have stayed that way all day! Highly recommended and very excited! Only negative thing I can say is that at the part of the ankle where the top of your foot meets your calf, I wish there was another set of shoelace holes to just have that one extra bit of support.

Pros: Great design, Build quality, Performance, Ease of use, Great value

Very Comfortable
February 04, 2011

These boots fit a little wide (especially in the heel and ankle), but they are light weight and very comfortable. They also have nice finishing touches, like fuchsia highlights on the soles and in the threading on the shaft of the boot. Haven't tried them out in the snow yet, but am looking forward to it.

good boot, tight fit
August 04, 2011

I was super excited for the arrival of my new boots, but hesitant due to the previous reviews which said they run small. I am a size ten and at the top of the size range for this boot. No going up a size for me. The boots are cute and really comfy, but alas just too small for my gunboats. Sadly they must be returned. Also, the rivets for the laces are flimsy. One broke while I was trying them on. The longevity of these boots is questionable.

Freezin's the reason
January 31, 2011

These boots are very warm and comfortable. As a few others have said, they do run small, so if you plan on wearing thick socks with them, I would buy a size up. I normally wear a size 6 and I ordered a size 6. And while they are a little tighter than I would like, I think a size 7 would be too big. I currently live in North Dakota and have shoveled snow in these and my feet stayed pretty warm and completely dry. Also, the black is not quite black- it is more of a grey, almost green color. Still cute though!

Pros: Build quality

Cute boots
March 05, 2011

Great boots! Very warm and comfortable. I'm moving to a very cold and snowy place and purchased them for this purpose. I wore them to school on a cold and rainy day to break them in and my feet were hot. They are true to fit and very cute! I got compliments on them.
