Some lightweight insulated rain and winter jackets sacrifice insulating warmth to shed ounces, but Columbia's Kaleidaslope II Shell Jacket for women delivers big on less heft and extra thermal warmth. The Women's Kaleidaslope II Shell Jacket utilizes a combination of traditional polyester insulation with a groundbreaking Omni-Heat® thermal reflective liner. The liner features an array of Omni-Heat® thermal dots that reflect thermal warmth back to your arms and torso. These thermal dots reflect heat much like the reflective blankets applied to distance runners after long races, but the spaces between the dots allow for moisture to escape to the exterior of the Kaleidaslope II Shell Jacket. This insulating outerwear is also compatible with other Columbia three-point Interchange shells and jackets, so you can attach the Kaleidaslope II to a waterproof skiing or climbing shell for enhanced weather protection.

I tried this jacket in a retailer's store and LOVED it. I found this jacket on Altrec for 1/2 the price. If I had the money I would buy 2! It is not bulky and very warm. It does run small so order one size up. Amazing concept with the body heat to keep you warm..... Great job Columbia!

I love the color and style of this jacket without the bulky look. I am 5'4 and 130lbs and ordered a small, but it was snug in the hip, so I'm exchanging it for a medium. Can't wait to get it! This jacket is so pretty!

I picked a winner this Christmas

I got this for my girlfriend for XMAS and she loved it! I was concerned at first about the quality because of the OMNI HEAT lining but it's extremely high quality and she is warm all the time (opposed to her typical cold demeanor!). It's a great jacket, looks great and seems like it is going to last for a long time. Great gift and I'm shocked how fast it was delivered! Thanks!

Nice Coat

This is a very nice coat. It is not too bulky or too heavy yet it is still warm. The sizing is good. I would recommend this as a nice coat for the winter months.
