Active Women's Skirt
January 04, 2012
This skirt is just what I wanted for a trip, and it's becoming a skirt I will wear a whole lot. It's comfortable and drapes well on me (slim waist, fuller hips, wearing waistband below my narrowest area). This skirt is also really nice as a wind-proof layer, working well with a jacket so that I don't need a long coat. In summer, I expect to wear it on chilly mornings, over my shorts; comfry for bike riding, too. Over leggings, with boots, it's great in cold, wet winter. Since it has a DWR finish, it just never gets wet. The pockets are great; they lay flat, one zips for security, and they are deep enough. This skirt is breathable, soft on the inside, and very sturdy. I like it!
Pros: Great design, Build quality, Ease of use, Great value, Lasts forever, PerformanceGreat styling, not so great fit

The main issue I had with the skirt was the fit. Apparently, my hips/butt are not large enough for the cut, causing a some fabric to stick out on either side of the skirt. The length was right above my knees (I'm 5'6) and it fit well at the waist. Luckily, the problem should be easily fixed with a sewing machine. I took this skirt to India and it worked wonderfully for what I wanted it for. It was modest enough to not draw attention, but cute enough to not be frumpy.
Pros: Build quality, PerformanceOdd Fit

Well- made skirt but the side seam inexplicably bunches up. The skirt was true to size but the puffy bunching on the side was so odd I had to return it.
