Warm, Not dry, Large fit, too awhile to ship
February 15, 2010

These pants kept me very warm while snowboarding, but not completely dry. My butt was wet by the time I removed the pants. Also, they took a LONG time to dry (I hung dry them) after washing them. I'm 5'4, 130 lbs, and I wore size medium, which is a big too big, especially in the groin area. I ordered these from Amazon, and Altrec took 1 week before they even shipped the product, which is disappointing.

Another Quality Columbia Product
December 31, 2009

I ordered these pants to replace a no name brand that I've had for many years. This pair is not as puffy as my last pair which is nice and the fit is good. An excellent value.

Plenty of room in hips and thighs...I do wish they were available in a petite length.

Great pants. Great Value
November 14, 2010

I loved these pants. I needed to replace the ski pants I bought 12 years ago and wanted a pair that would be stylish, comfortable, and durable enough to last me the next 12 years. I think these are the ones! Liked them so much I bought a pair for my daughter and she loved them too!

Pros: Great design, Build quality, Great value

True to Size
December 22, 2009

I am going skiing for the first time in a few weeks and wanted an affordable, fashionable pair of ski pants. These pants match my Columbia ski jacket perfectly and am very pleased with the fit. I cannot wait to use them on the ski slopes!

Great Snow Pants
May 11, 2010

True to size. Comfortable. Able to move well while snowshoeing. Not overly insulated or binding. Warm in cold weather. Highly recommend!

Great ski pants
April 26, 2010

I often have trouble finding outdoor pants that fit me, and I was so glad to find that these fit great! I'm a size 2 and ordered the XS. They are perfect for skiing and actually look great on, not too bulky. Great service from Altrec!

love them but they are too big
February 04, 2010

Not true to size. I am in between a 2-4 pant size and the S pant is like a size 6. bummed, need to exchange.

Great value
November 04, 2009

I bought these because at $60 they were quite affordable and I've been happy with Columbia in the past. My only hesitation was that they might not have enough pockets, but I was pleasantly surprised to find that these pants have both front and back pockets (description didn't say anything about the back ones). The lining is very soft and warm. They run a bit big. I am usually a 10-12 (33" waist, 41" hips) and ordered the medium, which fits comfortably. I am excited to use them this ski season!

February 25, 2010

My 14 year old is using these Columbia snow pants for snowboarding and loves the fit and they were not too bulky. She is a size 2 and ordered size XS, which was perfect.

Just What I Needed
December 13, 2010

I was in the market for a new pair of winter sports ski pants and these fit the bill exactly. The price couldn't be beat and for someone like myself who hits the slopes only 1-2 times a year, I didn't need to look any further. They fit well and have plenty of pockets. The insulation is sufficient for cold windy mornings and with a thick pair of long underwear I am set for even the coldest days.

These pants are great. They do run big. I am 5'7" 138 lbs and a small fits perfect with room for layers underneath. They are very female flattering.

Pros: Great design, Build quality, Performance, Ease of use, Great value

Very Warm
February 01, 2010

Wore them on an overnight winter camp out where the temperatures were in the single digits, stayed toasty warm. Easy on and off, size medium fit me well, I am 5'5" 130 lbs. I do wish they weren't quite so puffy though..

Nice Ski Pants
August 09, 2010

Bought these for my wife for a ski trip to BC. They kept her warm (which is usually tricky) with minimal layering. They are not too bulky and look nice. Great Ski pants at a great price.

I love them
December 26, 2009

Roomy yet form fitting. Nice warm liner. Great price for the quality when compared to more expensive ski pants I have had in the past. Plus they look great!

large, slow to ship
March 07, 2010

Even though I ordered the extra small, the pants were huge. It also took about 2 weeks from the time I ordered until the time I received them (ordered through Amazon). I never used them because they were too large. I did find that you could cinch the waist, but still the waist, hips and pant leg were just overall too generous in size.

This is a Great Snowpant
December 08, 2010

I recently purchased these snow pants and I couldn't be happier with the quality and durability. They ran a bit big, however, so I had to exchange them for a smaller size.

Pros: Great design, Build quality, Performance, Ease of use, Great value

Too big, but seem to be great pants
January 04, 2010

I ordered the XS in these and was sad that they were too big (I'm 5'4 and 110 lbs). Despite the too large size, it seems that these are a stylish, slimming fit and are made well.

Love these snow pants
May 20, 2010

Bought these in a size medium. I'm usually a size 8-10 being bigger in the rear and curvy. I found the pants to be quite comfortable although a little big. Am glad they are though as they give me the room I need without being worried about what I can fit underneath. Also, allows for extra bloat on occasion without a worry. If they're too big, wear a belt. I love that I can wear these with just some under-layer and go. Also fit well with pants underneath. VERY warm. Cold wasn't even a thought with these pants and I get cold easily. Could probably wear without any under layer, but should then buy smaller. I'm surprised a medium fit as large as it did but am VERY happy with this purchase and would recommend it highly.

These work great for skiing and sledding. I've used them in extremely cold weather, below freezing, and felt warm. They move well for exercising outdoors. The color is different than I expected, but I like it.

Luuuuv them!!!

Great buyy!
November 13, 2010

My normal pant size is usually anywhere from 0-4 and so by Columbia's definition I should have got a S size. I opted for the XS and the pants fit perfectly. Length is perfect and I am 5'6. My only complaint is that from the picture I assumed the pants were more of a black color when in actuality the "Grill" color is more of a dark grey. I used these pants on a recent trip to Colorado and stayed warm and toasty!

Pros: Great design, Build quality, Ease of use

Quality at a Reasonable Price
January 20, 2010

I need pants for snowboarding and wanted quality at a good price. Ski pants are expensive! I was pleased to find this pair for significantly less than other well-reviewed products. I like the pants a lot. I haven't worn them out yet, but they appear to be sturdy and are lined--perfect for the slopes. My only qualm is that they are big on me. I ordered the extra small and there is a lot of gapping (I am petite). I still plan on wearing them...I guess I will just be rocking the skater-chick look! Overall, I am happy with my purchase.

The perfect pants

Warm, insulated. It was true to size, a perfect fit.
