I love this shoe. The fit is true to size and provides support while not feeling stiff. The shoe is also adjustable in the heel, which is a great feature for getting that perfect fit in both shoes. I bought them to use on a commercial fishing boat and am very satisfied with the grip on wet surfaces, cool mesh, and relatively dry even under the difficult conditions on a boat. My feet were dry, cool, and comfortable. I would highly recommend these shoes.

I bought three pairs for myself and my other family members for a trip to Costa Rica. We all found this shoe very comfortable with good support. It offers good traction for hiking trails and dries out quickly if you use them in the water. Order one half size larger than your usual sneaker size--it runs short. It is easy to wash and dries out quickly.

I scoured the internet looking for a shoe that I could wear on a cruise vacation with multiple water based excursions. This shoe fit the bill as I can wear it on a boat, hiking thru the rainforest, waterfall climbing, traveling to the beach, and it's still a good choice for shopping at the port. It is very comfortable. I like that these shoes look more like athletic shoes than water shoes. My husband purchased the men's version of the same shoe and is equally happy.

I purchased these shoes before a trip to Portland, OR and the coast. They took me from the beach(the water drains easily), the steep trails around the coast(the soles are sturdy,yet soft), then up to Mount Hood. They not only looked good, the were wonderfully comfortable (with or without socks)

I plan to wear these Columbia shoes on an upcoming trip to Africa. They fit true to size and the light weight feature is wonderful. They'll be good at the airport (easy on, easy off) when going through security. The color is good because the shoes will blend with the natural surroundings when we're on photo safari.

The Columbia Outpost Hybrids are out-of-the-box comfortable. They really are light as a feather. The footbed gives excellent arch support, and while the uppers are constructed of airy mesh (for good ventilation and effective water shedding), the shoe holds the foot securely. The grippy sole provides outstanding traction. The lacing system has taken a little practice, but adjustments are pretty simple. I loved this shoe upon first wearing, and I immediately ordered a second pair in another color! Right now, they are serving duty for urban trail hiking, but I look forward to using them on the beach this summer.
