Columbia Sportswear breathed new life into the favorite Ramblin' Rhodie with a luscious new fabric and ramped-up wet-fighting power. The result? The effervescent Women's Plus Size Ramble Rain Jacket. Its new Camo Base™ face fabric is rich and soft to the touch, while a fully waterproof Omni-Tech® construction keeps you dry during sudden showers and promotes interior airflow. A flattering longer length keeps you covered as you head up the trail or into the office, while the attached, adjustable storm hood prevents dreaded bad hair days, while zip-closed pockets keep essentials dry and secure. Streamlined silhouette is finished with contrast stitching and flattering seaming details. Front zip with snap-close storm flap provides additional protection from the elements. Fabric features 57% eco-friendly recycled polyester.

Just what I was looking for.

I wanted a light weight jacket I could wear layers under but would shed rain, block wind and look nice. BINGO on all. Not sure about long term wear but feels like it will last. Fits nicely.

Excellent jacket

Purchased because besides its look, normally it takes a 2X to fit me but the 1X was very comfortable. Jacket is a nice color and due to its dark color, appears to be slimming. It is also long in the back and therefore offers more protection.

Columbia Rain Jacked

It's a nice jacket. And Columbia has a great reputation. I bought it for a trip I'm taking in the future so I haven't really tested it yet. I thought I could fold way the hood but I can't so I was a little disappointed in that. Other than that, I think it'll be fine. After all, it's a Columbia!
