Too Bad, Too Long!
March 30, 2011

I loved these pants, but had to return as they are way too long and can't be hemmed due to zipper at ankle. The fabric and fit otherwise was fabulous!! I'm 5'5" and 120 pounds, and the size 6 regular fit great except for length. Petite size not offered.

Pros: Build quality, nice fabric, Cons: too long

Strange fit
July 22, 2011

Like some Columbia products, leg openings are slim and waist openings are large- with the way the waistband panel on these wraps around and encompasses the pockets, there is no way to tailor the waist with darts, which I would have tried if possible. Material was lovely - midweight and buttery stretchy.

Pros: Build quality, Performance, Ease of use, Great value

Nice Summer pants
April 22, 2011

Women's Silver Ridge Stretch Pant: As new hikers, my wife and I opted to stop sweating like crazy and invest in some light hiking pants. We live in SoCal so these pants have been awesome for when we explore new trails (lots of dessert around here). They are very light and depending on the type of trail, she has zipped off the bottoms for clean trails or kept them long for when were in slightly more bushy ankle-scrape prone areas. The quality of the material has held up very nicely. They are comfortable and although tight, have enough elasticity for her to sit on the floor comfortably so hiking and bouldering are very comfortable (5'6'' and and around 130). She likes the pockets as there are some other pants with stitched on pockets that flared out and made her look weird (according to her). She really looked around and tried on many but found these to be the best for the price range (and dragged me everywhere with her). She wanted to have some that did not look too technical. We have come down from a hike and gone straight to a bar at the beach and she fits right in. All in all you can't go wrong with these pants.

Pros: Great design, Build quality, Performance, Great value
