Description

While Columbia is known for their reflective Omni-Heat® lining in ski jackets and snowboard parkas, many people don't realize that they also apply this same thermal reflective lining to the Columbia Snolucky Snow Boots for women. This high-traction winter footwear is a great solution for women who need an insulated, waterproof and breathable snow boot but don't want to clomp around in heavy and unwieldy shoes. Beneath the lightweight and durable ripstop nylon upper is a layer of Omni-Heat® insulation backed with an Omni-Heat® thermal reflective lining made up of tiny foil dots. These foil dots help reflect warmth back to your socks and feet while allowing any perspiration vapor to escape through the breathable fabric. Columbia also added an Omni-Tech® waterproof and breathable membrane that keeps melted snow and slush from penetrating the Women's Snolucky Snow Boots. Beneath everything is a non-marking Omni-Grip rubber sole that has an independent lug suspension for improved traction on uneven frozen surfaces.

March 23, 2012

After searching the web forever trying to find a quality winter boot for a reasonable price, I was thrilled to come across these boots. They were very reasonably priced and are so warm and comfortable.

I'm new to snowshoeing and based on other reviews ordered these. They are true to size, comfortable, and very warm. The boot height is good for walking in the snow, and they fit well with my snowshoes.

Pros: true fit, comfortable, warm

LOVE THESE BOOTS
December 19, 2011

They are VERY light weight and very comfortable...Feels like they have dr scholls insoles.. and fits like a sneaker.. I am normally a 6 or a 6.5 in boots so i got the 7 b/c i heard they run a bit small. the 7 fits great with a bit of toe room but not too much. I don't have narrow feet but i don't have wide feet i'm somewhere in btwn and i fit the standard B width.. .... I did not have a problem with the width on these. if you have wide feet and have to buy wide widths i don't think these will be good for you. The only reason i did not give 5 stars is b/c it hasn't rained or snowed yet and I've only worn them inside my apartment... from the other reviews they seem to be waterproof and warm.

Pros: light weight, comfortable, wears like a sneaker
Cons: if ur a 6.5 get a 7

Sno-Lucky Boot
November 04, 2011

Didn't want to go another winter in my heavy Sorel's again, so I was lookng for a lightweight winter boot. These are really really light! wow. They seem like they will be warm, however I have not been able to wear them in snow yet. There is good traction on the bottom, which is why I picked these over the North Face Nuptse bootie. I normally wear a size 6 shoe, but I chose a 7 and glad I did. With a pair of wool socks, they are a perfect fit. I needed a stretchy boot with a bit of give in the toe box, and these seem to do the trick. My only beef: they heel seems a bit hard, but I will put a dr. scholls pad in for that. Also the fuzzy stuff is glued on and some tufts came off, but I really didnt care, I wear snowpants over them anyway.
