Good Wind/Rain Shell
November 06, 2011
Overall a good wind/rain shell for the money. No insolation or really any R value, but a good shell for the elements. Fits true to size and comes in a variety of colors.Pros: Build quality, Great value

I bought this jacket looking to replace my previous Columbia windbreaker that had been discontinued. After searching, I settled on this one. Fits perfectly, color as described, easy to pack, durable. I only wish it was lined inside for a little more warmth. But overall, a great light jacket for a cool day.Pros: Great design, Build quality, Ease of use, Great value, Cons: no lining
Good Jacket- Good value
November 27, 2012
I like this jacket a lot, it has no lining, but it provides great wind protection. I like that I can simply wear the shell and won't be super cold as long as I have a jacket underneath. It's a great quality jacket for the price, although mine doesn't have a hood, which would actually come in handy. I'm satisfied with the price and the product, definitely a good buy.Pros: Performance, Ease of use, Great value, Cons: no hood

This is a great jacket. Standard fit, very light weight, keeps you dry. Perfect to pack along in case of rain. I'm 5'5 and I ordered a black in size small and it fits perfect. I ordered the storm surge pants to make it a set. Hood folds up nicely into collar. Jacket can be folded very small I put in my pack when I hike. I would recommend this it is a great value.Pros: Great value

The jacket appears exactly as it is shown in the picture as far as style. As far as the color, however, I ordered the "dark orchid" and it was not as dark purple as the photo displayed. Everything else is perfect. This is a very light jacket, so it does it's job. This jacket serves as a perfect shell against rain and wind while hiking or going for a walk in the spring. It would also fit perfectly around several other layers during the winter, however. Overall a great jacket for a great price and quick shipping.Pros: Great design, Performance, Ease of use, Great value
Was just the type of jacket I was looking for

A medium jacket was on the verge of being too small, the large fit me better in the torso but sleeve lengths a little long. Good Quality jacket
Love This Jacket
March 05, 2012
I bought this jacket for my teenage daughter. She had been looking for a rain jacket. We like the Columbia brand. We also looked at North Face rain jackets, but thought that they were too expensive. Well, I'm glad we got the Columbia. My daughter loves it. She has worn it everyday since she got it. It is perfect for the windy conditioins of a Tennessee spring. She got the bright green, and it is very bright. She has gotten many compliments. My daughter is 5' 9" and slender with long arms, I am 5'6" and average, and this jacket fits us both. I would recommend this jacket.Pros: Great design, Build quality, Performance, Ease of use

Just received this jacket and it's great. Also, arrived in a timely manner. Fits true to size, color was as viewed in photo. I am ready for the spring rains with this jacket. Love the hood and that it can be tucked away beneath the collar if need be. Lightweight and excellent quality, as you would expect from Columbia outer wear. Great for hiking or just casual shopping attire.Pros: Great design, Build quality, Ease of use, Great value
Switchback... Rain jacket?
September 16, 2012
This jacket is WONDERFUL for blocking the wind. I know it is classified as a rain jacket, but I had issues when I wore it to a firework show. With the hood up, the rain was pouring off the hood and onto my face; with the hood down, the rain was dripping down the collar. I managed to stay MOSTLY dry, but what I most commonly use this jacket for is chilly mornings on campus where the wind never stops blowing.Pros: Ease of use, Great value, Cons: Bad design

I am satisfied with my order, it was delivered without any problems.

Just received this jacket yesterday! Perfect weight for spring and summer rainy days, but went to adjust the hood tighter and the cord snapped right off! I needed it for my daughters trip this friday, so unfortunately I can't return it. I am little dissapointed. Packaging was excellent though and other than that, it was just what we were looking for in the xs. True to size too!!

I bought this jacket to carry with me on day trips, balled up in a stuff bag until needed. I like Columbia products as a rule. They're reasonably priced and travel well. I like the color I thought of as Columbia's "Corange", a soft coral, salmon, or honeysuckle, I had seen in many of their shirts. The jacket I recieved is a very bright Neon Orange. If you're a school crossing guard, or need to be noticed, this is the color for you. My husband encouraged me to keep the jacket and wear it for evening walks--oncoming traffic should definately see it.Pros: Great design, Great value
Nice jacket for a blustery day
March 23, 2011
The jacket was received very promptly. I was happy to have it for this wet, blustery weather. It fits well and provides excellent wind and rain protection.Pros: Performance, Great value
