I like that this chair is very packable- however, it really has a narrow seat and is not very comfortable. I will try the high-back version and compare the two - regardless, I will keep one because they pack so well.

My girlfriend and I use these chairs instead of the therm-a-rest chair kit. It comes out to be about a ½ pound heavier than the new 2012 chair kit but with our new neo-air’s I just don’t like squeezing and wrestling my therm-a-rest neo into the chair- it seems like the thing will pop at any second. And these you don’t have to worry about sparks from fires or cooking like you do with the therm-a-rest. They are tough chairs. Plus, we strap these chairs to the side of our packs and just throw them down when we stop for a break. They are really comfortable and can lay out flat to lie down on or use as ground cover when it’s wet. All in all, I think the convenience of having the chair when you need / want it is worth the half pound of weight over the therm-a-rest chair kit. And these can take the abuse. finally got around to buying one of these things. i love em! couldnt imagine my hikes without them. so light and easy to hike with and its great to have something symmetrical and comfortable to sit in at camp or quick breaks. definitely recommend. too convenient just to pass up.

I bought HexaLite Original Chair for my friend who is the best partner of my trecking. He was looking for handy chair. Very light, fold away easily for storage, and quick adjustable reclined position. He said "I give two thumbs-up to HexaLite Original Chair !"

This is a great product. It is the lightest that I have found on the market of its kind. It is very durable and packs well. It is the perfect fit for my needs.

This chair is not huge, but it also is very light. I tried hiking with a 'sit pad' and that just wasn't enough for me. This chair supports my back and is just what I wanted.

How did i live with out this?

Love this chair, it's really light weight and comfortable. I dont go any where with out it. It's always in my car or strapped to my pack. I love than you can completely lay it flat. It works as a sleeping pad on back country trips, thought it's not the most comfortable that way.
