Description

One of the inherent design flaws with running snowshoes, is the footwear, but now your feet can be toasty warm and dry with the Crescent Moon Booties for Snowshoeing. Plump 6 mm neoprene wraps your foot in warmth and water resistance, while the underfoot elastic straps keep the bootie in place. Compatible with running shoes, light hiking boots, or any other athletic shoe, this bootie uses a Velcro side closure and stretch neoprene to achieve a snug element slaying fit. The toe is reinforced, as it will be stuffed into the binding all day, and the Velcro side closure full height. Perhaps the best purchase you could make, next to the snowshoes, is the Booties for Snowshoeing from Crescent Moon, they'll keep you warmer and drier longer, and let you get more enjoyment out of your adventure.

Better than could ever imagine

I had my doubts when I ordered the snowshoe booties, but gave them a try, anyway. Turned out to be an excellent purchase! I snowshoe run, wearing trail runner shoes. Though I rarely get my feet wet, my feet were always slightly cold. The booties took care of the problem. No perceived added weight, warm feet, and dry socks - what a concept!

GREAT Product!

My wife and I are new to showshoeing. We had been looking at gaiters online when I found these Crescent Moon Snow Booties. We have been so happy with them, that we would recommend them to anyone. Not only do they fit great, but they allow for full ankle movement with no restrictions. We have even worn our non-waterproof crosstrainers under the snow booties and our shoes, socks, and feet have remained warm and dry. These items are a must have!

Pros: Build quality, Performance, Great value

Very good product
December 12, 2010

Fit is good. I wear a size 11 mens shoe and am satisfied with the large size I purchased. Warmth is great since wearing my running shoes is preferred when on the trail. Only negative is that the heal floats up slightly above the top of the back of my shoe which allows snow in in deep powder.

Pros: Great design, Build quality, Performance, Ease of use, Great value
Durability: 5 / 5
Quality: 5 / 5

Great for Snowshoes
March 04, 2012

Bought a pair of these for me (ladies size 9 shoe) and the S/M works just fine. Haven't used them yet to snowshoe but they fit will over my shoes and then my snowshoes fit on just fine. Also bough a pair for my husband (mens size 12). The Large just fits, its a little snug but consistent with the language online mens size 12 is the largest these will fit. I am buying these to replace on old pair of snowshoes I had that actually had neoprene bindings so was so very excited to find them! Know they will keep my feet dry when snowshoeing!

Pros: Build quality, Ease of use

This was an ok purchase. Unable to find other similar products so will not send this one back. The sizing S/M creates a problem as the Snowshoe Booties are too big (this is the smallest size) and consequently the toe of the bootie pulls up and lets snow in as well as the heel coverage is a bit too high and thus my shoes get wet. I will probably take the booties in and have them modified (made smaller) which is an additional expense. Basically I think the design is ok and think they can be highly rated for durability.

Crescent Moon Booties
January 09, 2012

I am new to snowshoeing and had difficulties finding a lightweight, easy to use cover for my running shoes (which are not waterproof). These booties are exactly what I was looking for. I've only used once and work perfectly, and kept my shoes and socks dry. I can't wait to do more snowshoeing now!

Pros: Performance, Ease of use, Great value

These fit larger than the size described so we will be returning them. Won't fit into snowshoe bindings. Thought they would be a closer fit over shoes...

These booties are made of very thick neoprene and have an additional reinforced toe. Sizing range worked well for us.
