Description

Created to provide superb support to your core and your knees, the CW-X 3/4 Stabilyx Tight for women is optimized for lateral motion--for sports like skiing and snowboarding. That's because the Women's CW-X 3/4 Stabilyx Tight bands lower leg muscles and ligaments together to help stabilize your knees and potentially reduce energy-tapping vibrations. CW-X also added this Support Web™ stability (it rolls off the tongue better than "kinesiology-taping technology") to the midsection to support your hips, back and lower abdominal muscles, so you're more inclined to channel energy through your core. Because the 3/4 Stabilyx Tight uses variable compression, it helps enhance your blood circulation during and after sports activities. While the effects of compression technology vary from athlete to athlete, some sports enthusiasts find that this enhancement helps minimize lactic acid build up, so you're less fatigued during and after a day on the slopes.

CW-X Tights
October 04, 2010

I was just on the edge between small & medium. I ordered the medium and they are a little long I am 5'4" 140 lbs. Because your knee has to fit in a diamond shape, the fit needs to be pretty accurate, I would have liked to have tried the small.

Pros: Build quality, Performance, Cons: Cost

Awesome tights, size matters
February 22, 2010

I have loved all the CW-X products that I have tried so far - the shorts, tights and now the 3/4 tights. The compression really works and helps on my long runs. Unfortunately, I'll have to exchange the 3/4 tights for a size small. I wear an XS for the tights, but a size S for the shorts (I have longer legs and the shorts don't offer a lot of coverage). I thought I would be an XS for the 3/4-tights too, but I was wrong. I recommend going exactly off of the sizing chart for height and weight, and if you're in between sizes, go UP a size (unless you're really short). They'll still run "tight" on your body but the bigger size may give you the length you need in your legs and to fit exactly the way it should over the knees. The tights and shorts really do wonders for my low back. I have a pinched nerve that used to always act up when I run uphill, but when I wear the tights or shorts, I don't feel the pain as much any more. I was skeptical about CW-X before trying them...I've tried so many different things...but these really help. I'm a believer!

Brand Loyal!
September 27, 2012

I love the CWX 3/4 Stability Tights - they're super comfortable and they provide great support in the hip area which has helped with my IT Band issues. They don't ride up and they're true to size. I also have the CWX Performance Tights which are also excellent for long training runs in cooler weather. I plan on getting the CWX compression shorts next as I love the CWX brand and fit! One suggestion is to wash the tights inside out as the logo does tend to peel some so this will help to have the tights last longer.

Pros: comfortable, true to size, provides good support

Great tights, with one minor flaw
January 18, 2010

I really love these tights. They fit well, and give a lot of support. They looked so small out of the box, and I was afraid they might cut off the circulation since I have unusually large calves compared to the rest of my leg (years of soccer). Anyway, they did not, they feel great and I think they are actually helping my IT Band problems. I still wear an IT Band strap over the top on one leg, but I don't have to put it on until mile 5. The one issue I have with these pants is that the seam runs right through the crotch. They put a crotch liner over it, but you can still feel the seam through it. They should have had the seam replaced with the diamond shape crotch liner like most other running tights and capris do, or at least have put a thicker liner in it. I m afraid after too many miles it might really start to irritate.

Awesome pair of tights
May 16, 2010

I own several CW-X clothing items and I love them all. These tights don't disappoint. They are very supportive and help my legs feel less fatigue on my long runs. They run true to size. I chose my size from the CW-X sizing chart and the size was correct. Washes well. I plan on buying another pair.

Great tights!
May 11, 2010

So far, in temps under 75 during a 1/2 marathon, they have been comfortable - wicking is good. How do they compare to Under Armour? As a fan of everything Under Armour, CW-X tights are for those who are wanting a true performance compression tight. You will notice immediately the support - they should fit quite snug. These tights are expensive, but there is a reason. Race or run in them, and you will understand, especially post race. Indulge, YOU are worth the money. Most of all, you will look great!

3/4 length Stabilyx Tight
June 22, 2010

I love these tights. This is my third pair. Each time I try something a litle different. I went from insulated tights to full length stabilyx tights and now I have the 3/4 length. I almost wish they were more ventilated for the summer runs.

Terrific!

The 3/4 Stablyx tights are really supportive for the long distance cycling that I use them for. They really support well. They are just a little hot for the summer months, but they help eliminate knee and back pain.

My wife loved the gift and the fit!
June 02, 2010

My wife is a competitive athlete and loved the way these tights fit and felt. She has been wanting to try the "technology" and has enjoyed the benefits of the compression both during and after exercise.

The simple fact is when I wear these to run, the following morning I feel so much better than the days I run without wearing them.

Sweet Support
July 25, 2009

The CW-X 3/4 Stabilyx Tight offers the best support I've had in a workout tight. I am 5/'7'' and weigh 170 lbs. According to the sizing chart I ordered the proper size, a medium, but as a person with fibromyalgia I cannot tolerate clothing that is too tight which causes extreme pain, the size large would have been a better fit for me. I gave the mediums to my daughter in law and she absolutely loves them. She has a bad hip and the fist time she used them she was so happy. The tights offered her the support she needs for her hip and knees. We are both happy, I'll just get another pair in the size large.

I am very happy with my 3/4 length Stabylix Tights. They are very supportive and my legs feel great both during and after I run. The CW-X sizing chart is accurate. They run true to size. Washes well too!

excellent!!
November 21, 2010

I have had my eye on these for some time now. I have just gotten back into running and with cooler weather on the way I wanted something other than shorts to run in. I also have a bum knee and find that these reduce my discomfort and allow me to run without my brace for shorter runs. I am only 5'6" but find most capris to be knee length, these actually cover some of my calf (which they should to properly fit around the knee). These are perfect for 40-50 degree days, may almost be too warm for 50 degrees. If they were not so expensive I would get another pair or two. Mine are all black, and with all of the seams I don't think I would like the blue and black pair, but to each their own.

Pros: Great design, Performance

Great Tights!
March 19, 2011

I love these tights. I was worried they would not fit properly because while I'm only 5"7" & 130lbs, I have long legs and most tights and running pants are way too short. I bought the medium and they fit perfectly! I have worn them on 3 shorter runs and they just feel great and my legs feel energized. The true test will be my long run this weekend. Can't wait! I'm going back for the shorts for the summer.

Love them!!!
October 02, 2009

I am a physical therapist & runner. I've been using kinesiotaping, the technology behind CW-X tights, for a few years and it works. These tights feel great on my low back, knees & IT band that acts up on a regular basis. Two weeks of running in these & no back or IT band trouble so far. My one slight complaint is the length. I am 5'9" and 130#. The size Med is a little short for me.

Excellent Choice!
October 27, 2011

These 3/4 stability tights are by far the best. I am a trail runner and a CrossFit junky. These are the first tights I have found that actually keep my muscles compressed yet able to be flexible and breathable. The web design support system are all in the right places, especially the knee area. I have not felt any cons, even after a 3hr trail run. These are a keeper!

1st time that i have tried a compression tight; very comfortable. Too soon to say that it actually changes performance or recovery time, but i do look forward to wearing them and seeing whether they have a positive effect.

February 02, 2011

I am a runner and personal trainer, I had an acl repair in 2005, I have since ran a couple marathons, and half marathons. I wanted to see if these would give me the support I needed around my knees. They do. I think are they wonderful, I feel energized wearing them and have great recovery after a run. I ordered a small, I am 5'5 and 140 and they are perfect. I am wanting to order more to train in just because of standing most of the day. I have recommended them to my clients. They are a terrific investment.

Pros: Great design, Build quality, Performance, fast service!

Yes, you can wear these.....at any age!
May 10, 2010

I just finished competing in my 2nd mini marathon at age 60 and loved showing off my new stability tights to friends and family. Age has taken a toll on my hips, knees and back, so I was very grateful to learn about your wonderful product. I really believe they were effective in my performance. Now the whole family wants a pair!

First time was the charm
August 18, 2009

These pants came highly recommended by a friend. I have had knee issues (caused by weak quads) in the past but when I wear these pants my legs feel great. This was my first purchase of stability tights and I love them. I even got a pair for my mom.

snugle

Great tights but could use a ziper pocket in the back.
January 20, 2010

I love the tight. It gives a good core and leg support. I was looking for a tight that would feel supportive, especially for my core and for my ITBS problem. Be careful in sizing. I am between XS and S. I went for XS because I wanted the extra support, but it pinches a little behind your knees. Once you wear a few times, I got accustomed to the snugly feel. I highly recommend the tight.

good running pants

love these pants, they feel great around my knee.

Love these compressions tights!
March 28, 2010

Looking forward to running in the warmer weather with these. Have several pairs of the CW-X Stabilyx full length tights for colder running and love them because of the stability they provide.
