At first, I was surprised at how much the tights squeezed my legs, but then after a couple of runs, I got used to them, and I like the support they give. My legs stay fresh, and my muscles don't get as tired as when I wear loose leggings. I have two pairs now. This is perfect for the fall.

Perfect Compression

I am an endurance runner and have always needed to wear bottoms with compression. The tights were comfortable ( I am 5'7" and 151 lbs.) and the M was the right size. They did not feel constricting. The wider drawstring is convenient and easy to quickly undo. After a 23 mile training run in these tights, I was hooked on CW-X. I felt minimal muscle fatigue.If only I had found them sooner! The size chart is spot on!

I was a little skeptical about the reported benefits of these CW-X PerformX tights for running. And the price tag had me hesitating further until I talked with a close friend who recently bought a pair and couldn't say enough good things. I broke down and treated myself to a pair as a Christmas gift :-) I am 5'1" and 135 lbs.....I fall between a S and M size. I ordered the S with the recommendation that they should be snug in order to get the ultimate benefit. The fit is perfect for me in both length and girth while providing enough stretch for a taller frame. You have to take your time putting them on to get them lined up with the webbing hitting the right spots on your leg. I wore them on a 39 degree day on an afternoon/early evening run. This is the first run in a week since being struck down with a stomach virus and completely out of commission. WOW.....I'm a believer!! Usually after a week long break I experience some leg soreness the day after my run.......NOT TODAY!! The CW-X PerformX tights were a perfect companion. During my run I felt great, my legs felt strong, and I was totally comfortable in the 40 deg. temperature with only a mid-weight wool sweater on top. The tie waist and internal key pocket are a plus. Today, the day after, no leg fatigue or soreness at all. So far so good......I'm participating in a New Year's Eve running race and plan to wear the PerformX tights again while making my resolution to invest in another pair!! Thanks CW-X...great item!!

They do what they're supposed to

I had heard great things about these tights but had always balked at spending more than I usually spend on tights. I finally caved in when the weather turned cold and I thought I need to wear my knee braces when I ran road races. They worked really well. My knees didn't hurt and they were very comfortable though the weather was cold and misty. It is a little more difficult to wriggle into these since they're meant to be snug--but the result is worth it.

After reading all the reviews for the CW-X PerformX Tight for Women, I decided to order a pair. I ordered a size Small (I'm 5'4 and 115lbs) and they fit perfectly. I've been having IT Band issues so I purchased the tights after much research. I wear the tights during and post-runs. I have slept in them as well, as they feel really good on my legs. My recovery has been a lot better also after wearing the tights. I am in the process of ordering the 3/4 tights as I'm running a half marathon this weekend in Florida and the long tights would be too hot. I'm looking foward to wearing the 3/4 tights and having the compression I need for the race.

Tight but comfortable fit. Makes muscles feel better supported for my workouts. Medium build, size chart works great. As a Physical Therapist, would recommend this product to anyone serious about working out.

These feel great and are warm enough for almost any winter running. You feel like a million bucks, even after a long run!!

I was curious how these pants would fit and comfortable they would be. I was glad I made the purchase, there is not much stretch, so the size needs to be perfect. The stay in place while running. The can be warn all seasons but summer I would say, unless it is a chilly morning.

My wife has turned into an avid runner in the last year. She started wearing CWX Stabilyx tights, which works great for her, but they are pretty hard to put on and gives quite a bit of compression. I found these PeformX tights here at Altrec. This turned out to be perfect for my wife! Gave good weather protection and provided enough compression to make her run more comfortable, without the full on compression that the Stabilyx gave. My wife says that if she didn't find the CWX line of products, she may have stopped running already... She highly recommends CWX! Just keep the tights out of the dryer!

I was a bit worried about the compression being too snug, but it was perfect. My legs feel incredibly supported and, as weird as it sounds, my running seems a bit more effortless. Post run recovery is actually amazing (I would have been skeptical here). I did my 1st 10k of the season with these tights (after having only ran a few training miles here and there) and, honestly, I had no soreness afterwards! Running in cold sleet was niiiice - legs were comfortably compressed and I had no cold issues. Was true to size - I always wear a small (5'5 & 120lbs) and the small fits great.

these were a gift and my wife loved them. she is an avid runner and marathoner so they worked well for winter running.
