Very happy with the Apex
April 25, 2011

My first hydration pack, I love it, the quality is outstanding. The only problem I have with the pack is it is a little bit too small for me when I fill the 3L water tank. Otherwise, I'm pretty happy with the purchase.

Great bag!
April 17, 2011

This bag is perfect for taking anything you need on a day trip while biking. It is very comfortable both on the mountain bike and even on day hikes. The pockets and pouches within the bag are geared toward bike equipment making it very easy to pack your tools, pumps and other accessories for biking. The helmet carrier is great for helmets or a spare jacket. The straps for shin guards on the bottom of the bag are also great for rolling up a blanket or sleeping pad to take on trips. The bag has a nice light feel yet feels "solid" and compact when on your back. I'm 6'-3", 200lbs and the bag fits alright. I think the bag could be a little bigger for me, but I wanted a small bag that wouldn't get in the way while riding and this one is perfect for that. I believe it would be even more comfortable for smaller riders 5'-6"- 6'-0", but would not consider exchanging my bag due to it's size. The water bladder is also great for long rides and hikes and the angled nozzle makes drinking easier while riding.

Pros: Great design, Build quality, Lasts forever, Performance, Ease of use, Great value

This is a great bag and it is perfect for taking either mountain biking, to the beach or anywhere I need to carry a few extras. The bag is pretty small when comparing it to other 27 liter sizes. I believe that they include the helmet carrier in the size. Having said that I can fit nearly all of my books for 5 classes inside when I decide to bike to school, although I do use the helmet carrier to fit a couple of them. If that's your plan I suggest also picking up a rain cover.
