Description

When it’s time to graduate from lift accessed terrain, turn to the DaKine Baker Snow Pack to show you how it’s done. Mt Baker in Washington has some pretty sweet backcountry terrain, so maybe the pack knows where to go. In any case, carry everything you need to be safe and prepared with this fully equipped snow pack. Padded shoulder straps and a waist belt help support you during the climb and the extra tough double blend of nylon will keep the pack safe when you’re constantly abusing it to get to your shovel or release your skis or snowboard. If your goggles are fogging during the slow climb up, the fleece lined goggle pocket will take care of them and make sure to stay hydrated with the insulated hydration sleeve.

Solid Bag
December 09, 2010

Took this bag out for a day of snowboarding, and it did not disappoint. The pocket and hanging loop for the hydration pack, as well as the channel along the shoulder strap for insulating the hydration pack tube did its job. There's a good amount but not a tremendous amount of space in this bag, probably enough for just one day's worth of activities. The bag seems a bit lightweight, but it does not seem to affect its durability much. If there's two things I'd add to this bag, it's another fleece lined pocket for goggles along the back panel (which last years model had, I think. The fleece lined pocket in the front is a little smaller and seems to be made for sunglasses) and the ability for the bag to tuck in the waist straps under the back panel so it doesn't get in the way when not in use.

Perfect Pack

Awesome for back country, around town, to the gym or the beach. Great design. Lots of pockets. Its durable but not overbuilt. And, it looks way cool...

Great Backpack!!!
March 01, 2009

This backpack is a steal for the price. This is my second one I've owned, my first one was stolen. (even the criminals love it) I use it because it handles speed well. I've taken it 170mph on my motorcycle and it stayed secure the whole time. It's perfect for boarding too. It's durable and looks good. Buy it, don't think about it, just do it!

Great Day Pack
March 08, 2011

I went on a trip to CO and used this pack, carried everything i needed, camera, extra pair of gloves, snacks and a sandwich. I also bought a 70oz hydration pack for it and it worked out great. I would recommend this to anyone that wants a light day pack and is not carrying a ton of stuff.

Pros: Great design, Build quality, Performance, Ease of use, Great value, super light

Great price, very durable, stylish and easy to carry around. It's light and thin so it's comfortable to ski with it.

Great pack...
December 17, 2010

A bit wider and taller than I expected, but well made and still pretty compact. Wonderful features on it--the insulated sleeve for water bladder is a huge plus. I drink tons of water but it either freezes or I have bottles to mess with on the slopes--this should keep me hydrated and not frustrated.

Wonderful Pack!
January 03, 2011

I ski and snowboard so the fact that this pack has carrying spots for both was what made me invest in this bag-- but after testing it out over the weekend, I'm also delighted by all the extra features. As others have noted, it is slim, so no problem fitting it on the chairlift. While it is small, the pack has more than enough room for all the essentials- extra layers, snacks, beverages, etc. The zipper-pulls are large enough so you can open and close the pack with your mittens/gloves on. Seems to be very well made and I expect it to last many many seasons. I love my pack so much I am also getting one for my boyfriend.

Pros: Great design, Build quality, Lasts forever, Performance, Ease of use

I attach my snowshoes to it. Enough space for a daypack. There is a lot of ways to attack and secure whatever you need to attach. Nice pockets, too
