Perfect pipe glove and perfect fit
December 28, 2009
Dakine gloves are the only way to go for snowboarding. I have had so many different kinds of gloves, but after one pair of dakine's i never went back. As long as i ride, they will be on my hands
Just for a few hours at snow
March 30, 2012
At the beginning they are ok, but after few hours they get very wet. They fit nice and they are comfortable, but not like a 'real' snowboard gloves. If you need something warm for 6-8 hours at snow, I would take a backup glows and left this more like off snow gloves.
Pros: Great design, Ease of use, Great value, Cons: Low performanceI'd give 'em 5 stars.

I'd give 'em 5 stars. If you like Grenade gear and the look of most Burton stuff because the concept of a color aneurysm is cool to you, then you should buy these gloves for looks. I happened to buy them for spring riding/skiing. They breathe pretty well, are comfortable in the snow or in 40 degree weather, they're tough, and most certainly (and best of all) really, really flippin' waterproof. I have large hands and they fit remarkably well: probably the most comfortable glove I've worn, and I'm a pretty dedicated Hestra wearer. easy to move in and super steezy.
Not a great glove
October 20, 2009
Pros - Looks very nice (Black/Heather) - Anti-slip palm - Good shape, runs a bit small Cons - Very poor internal construction - Very uncomforable/chafing - No wind or water protection - No warmth, would only use above 40 degrees, at which I would probably rather wear nothing This item is very disappointing considering it looks great and is a slim fitting glove with no bulk. As such, it has exposed internal seams which make it very uncomfortable. I will try something less elaborate with a comfortable interior.
Sponge of a glove
February 02, 2011
Didn't keep my hands warm at all. Spent 30 dollars on a pair of gloves that soaked in as much water as a sponge. Not only were my Vipers soaked, but so were my liners. By two hours in the snow the Vipers were building up icicles on my fingers. The outside of the glove is cool to look at at first, but by the end of the day, they design was almost completely peeled off. Awful product. Poor decision to wear these things to the slopes.
Tight fit but good gloves

Wear when it is not too cold out. Don't like the velcro that much, but they are nice.
Perfect late season glove
November 04, 2012
I was looking for a late season light weight glove mainly just to keep dry. When it gets hot, it's silly and bulky for my other gloves. Fit is good and quality is excellent. Will buy Dakine again. Have not let me down yet.
Pros: Build quality, Ease of usegloves not as advertised

the gloves are NOT AT ALL warm. they are also way smaller than the size listed. the mens L is really a womens large or med. Not happy about this. We will not be using this service again. Sizes are very inaccurate.
Great warm-weather gloves
September 04, 2011
I purchased these gloves strictly for a trip to the Liberty SnowFlex Centre. I loved them. My hands weren't too warm in them at all. Also, the SnowFlex is notorious for ripping stuff to shreds. These gloves were fine on it for the few times my hands hit the ground. My only issue with these was getting them on, the opening is kind of small. I purchased a size medium.

Great spring glove, great for freezing or above freezing temperatures. Very comfortable and fits very well. I used it over the weekend with a liner under and was very comfortable in 20 degree weather. Sizing seems to run similar to other gloves ive used.

Viper glove
November 13, 2011
Great glove, but sizing runs a little small, prefer glove goes up past wrist so I can tuck into my coat. It is lightweight and comfortable, and has slip proof texture on palm surface. have not used in extreme weather but works well down to freezing. will buy for entire family
Pros: Great design, Performance, Cons: sizing runs smallVery unconfortable glove

I got the black/heather one which looks very nice, but it doesn't offer much warmth when used in below 40 degrees weather and the internal seams poke into your fingers. Not recommended for wearing in cold weather.
Pretty Good

They allow me to get up the tow ropes easily and give me a good range of motion, however they get cold really quickly.
Very nice pipe gloves

Awesome design. The thumbs are a little small though, other than that they are great gloves for the pipe.
