This back pack is perfect for petite person. I am only 5'1" and most backpacks are just way too big to fit me properly but this one fits the bill. It is definitely small so if you need to carry a lot of books or stuff it isn't for you. My 13" laptop fits perfectly inside with a few thin note books. Also the side mesh pockets and the sun-glass pocket are a plus!

This is a good backpack for the price. I am small and weigh 105 lbs and cannot carry more than what this size of backpack allows. The straps outside are so convenient for a jacket or a newspaper. The thing I do not like is the zipper for the pockets outside. It only goes one way and unless you close all the way, your stuff will fall off. The outside pocket could have some organizer for pens...The inside compartment could have a pocket for an iPad. I like it mainly for the size and the straps.

DaKine Grom Backpack is awesome!!! Great price, very durable, stylish and easy to carry around. It's light and thin. so it's comfortable to ski or travel with it.
