I was first introduced to DaKine backpacks at a local outdoors store. Loving the fact that the inside is durable enough to withstand my daughters' heavy and bulky school books I had to get them. Loved the ease Altrec.com and all the wonderful styles they carry. Not only our the bags sturdy and will actually last all year, they are beautiful. Thanks so much!

The Dakine backpack was perfect for my 12 year old Grand-daughter. The bag was made to last several years, I am sure she will out grow it before I have to purchase another.

This backpack not only fits everything I need, it's actually really comfortable on my back. So many pockets lets me pack everything I need not only for class, but for the whole day on and off campus. This shipping was fast and it arrived right on time.

I ordered this backpack for my freshman year of college. It was delivered quickly. Immediately, I loved the padded shoulder straps- they'll definitely come in handy when I'm carrying all my books! My 13" Macbook Pro fit great in the laptop compartment although it does has a little wiggle room. I'm quite excited about the pockets for my smaller electronics as they all have a velvety lining to keep them safe. So far, I'm quite satisfied!

i just came back from the trip to california with the bag,and it is really a great bag to take for travelling.it is large enough for me to put my ipad,laptop,purse,passport,snacks,small cosmetics,and thin coat into this amazing bag.and the most amazing point is that it is so light to carry!

This bag is exactly what I need for when I am constantly on the road traveling for work. It as a neat little compartment on the top that fit's my cell/ipod in perfectly so I can have easy access to cell phone and headphone cord doesn't get all tangled. It has two pockets on the side that extent to fit water bottles and the front zipper compartment is insolated so you can keep your lunch cool for when you're on the road and need to stay healthy. It also has a front pocket that has seperate compartments to organize pens, gum, makeup etc... Highly recommend this bag! It not only works for my busy work life but can transform to a great hiking/snowboarding bag while I'm out exploring! Oh and that cost is lower than I've found for the quality of this product.

This backpack is perfect for the serious student who needs to carry heavy textbooks all day, every day. It has the room and the strength. There are also several pockets that help keep your stuff organized and easy to access. The zippers work easily. Plus, the design is attractive and fun.

...with this backpack. I told my son I was considering not using a purse anymore! I absolutely love the backpack. Love the material, the colors, the design. The cooler pocket is way bigger than I expected....a huge +! The sunglasses spot is all velvety - so is the phone and iPod slots. I love the inside fabric design. I chose the black Houndstooth. It has bright lime green/yellow zippers...and the inside is so flippin awesome! The straps fit a woman's body perfectly. I have pain issues and this pack really is comfortable for me. By far, the best backpack I've ever seen. I am going to order my son one for school (but in a boy's design and color :) ). DaKine ROCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Not only is it awesome but I saved almost 20.00 off the MSRP at altrec.com :) Thank you! :D

I am the tech where I work and I purchased this backpack for a co-worker who has gone back to school who recently purchased a laptop and I have been preparing it for her for school. I nearly kept it as a backup to mine. Her laptop fit perfectly in the padded area, and she still had room for little whatnots, like mouse, USB's, mouse pad, notebooks. She could essentially put everything she needs for class in this backpack along with personal items, she could leave her purse at home. All in all, the money was well spent! She liked the insulated pocket for her candy bars that are usually kept in the frig at work :-)

I love this bag!! It has three pockets with a bunch of space!! The color is so cute!!! Anyone who gets this bag will love it! If they don't, then something is wrong with them.

I purchased this backpack, Women's Prom Laptop Backpack, for my 8 year old daughter. I am tired of spending money on cheaply made kid backpacks for school. I was worried that it would be to big, but it is great size for my daughters many books. And best of it all, she loves the design on the bag (Zulu) and is very proud to have a 'grown up' bag. I too have one for myself in another style ... I will continue to purchase Dakine bags from Altrec.com....

Bought this for college and it's a great backpack for its price. Love the insulated pocket as well as water bottle pocket. Great design on the outside and the only complain i have is the floral design on the inside that was a bit unexpected and didn't match the exterior design. But that's just my preference.

this bag is very comfortable to wear. The straps are nice and wide and fit my shoulders perfectly. I'm 5'6 and weigh 120 and i found that this bag distributes the weight very nicely and make it feel super light. I have only had the dalkine prom for about a year, but so far it has proven amazing quality and durability! The insulated pocket does not fit much but i put a sandwich in there and it stays safe and cool until im ready to eat it. There is even a nice little pocket on the top of the bag for my sunglasses which is nice and convenient for walking from one building to the next across campus. ! I use this bag for college and its big enough to fit everything i need for all 3 classes and my 15.6in laptop plus calculator and some other things. I also use this bag for sleeping over at friends house and i can shove everything i need in it and all the pockets keeps all my stuff organized so its not one big mess. I have recommended this bag to many friends!!

I recently bought this backpack for my daughters birthday. She loves it and moved her school books into it right away. It is very roomy in the inside. The sun glasses pocket is great, then she doesn't have to leave them in her car during the school day. The laptop padded pocket is great for traveling and bringing the computer to and from places with out having to bring a laptop bag. Love the backpack it is very stylish, we got the Gray and Pink one. Many compliments given to her at school. Must buy! Also two of her friends have the same bag, different colors. They all love them!

This backpack holds a lot! Not only is the laptop slot really convenient, there are little things that make it a great backpack. There is a water bottle holder wrapped in the side small pocket, the individual holders for an iPod and phone, and the insulated front pocket all are wonderful! I got my money's worth.
