I've bought this mitts for my girlfriend. Thanks god the size was OK.) The mitts is very warm and thanks to GoreTex is very dry inside! So everithing is nice but be aware that the internal removable liner is a mitt shape but not the glove as I expected.

I recently used these mittens on a weekend mountain hike in the adirondacks and they provided warmth and comfort. The liners are great for a wind shield, when it's too warm for the whole mitten. I have small hands and the size small fit perfectly. I did not enjoy wearing the liner within the mitten, it was too constricting but the mitten without the liner is very comfortable. One problem I found was that I had to take off the mitten to handle most anything, like putting on bindings, unzipping, ect, which makes your hands cold. Was completely waterproof and kept my hands warm.Pros: Great design, Build quality, Performance, very comfortable, Cons: Cost

I used these gloves on a hike in the rain. It kept me warm and dry. It is not as bulky as other waterproof gloves or mitts. Very good looking mitts! I bought this on sale in Altrec while other sites are still selling at regular retail prices.Pros: Great design, Build quality, Performance, Ease of use, Great value

Thumb gusset too small
May 26, 2011
The mitt looks nice, and I like the pocket for the handd warmer, but the thumb gusset area is too tight. I started with the small, then tried the medium. The hand was too big on the medium, but the thumb gusset was still too tight. I could not imagine that it could keep my thumb warm when there was no room to move. I really can not recommend this product. SorryPros: Great design, Great value, Cons: poor fit

I haven't had a chance to use these outdoors yet, so my review may be somewhat limited. What I can say though... - The lining is super soft! Even if you choose not to use the liner mitts, your hands will feel like they are bundled up in a fleece blanket. - Really warm. I have cold hands (and feet), and when I wear my other gloves, they feel more like coverings without providing much warmth. These mitts made my hands feel toasty immediately. - Zipped pocket on both hands have a mesh lining which can double as vents on a warm day - Goggle and snot wipes are always useful - Some people mentioned the thumb can be a bit tight. I'm 5'3", average build and the small fit me perfectly. While the thumb was admittedly a bit snug, it was not uncomfortable and still allowed for movement.

I haven't worn these yet but I love the mitt liner and the mitt itself. Tried it on and seems to have a great fit. The color is complementary to all my outfits. I highly recommend these gloves because they seem really functional.Pros: Build quality, Ease of use

Kept my hands warm on the coldest day of skiing. Loved the goggle swipe. Perfect fit and I love the pattern on the material. This is the first time I used mittens for skiing. I was afraid it would be awkward to hold poles, etc. but I didn't have any trouble.
Great for the price

Very warm mitts. The quality is good for the price and they have a little zip pocket with a lens cloth in it, that's pretty cool. They are great for snowboarding. Note: the mitts run a little on the small end. I take a size medium and they just fit. Previous mitts I've owned from other manufacturers in a medium were roomier.Pros: Build quality, Performance, Great value

Excellent mittens! Would recommend to anyone! Pros: waterproof, warm, removable liner, pouch for heating pack, zip pull closure around cuff. I live in Alaska currently - its snowy with below zero temperatures all winter. These mittens work great for cross country skiing, downhill skiing, and the daily work commute.
