needs better stitching
March 06, 2012
I had to do a lot of research just to make certain that the sizing is correct. I have medium sized hands but upon reading other postings I ordered the size Large and it fits a little snug under my glove. Also, keep in mind that you may need a slightly larger glove because of the added bulk but my favorite gloves worked well even though it was a little tight at the wrist getting them on. Initially, they felt great and I felt a little reassured that I wouldnt break my wrist if I took a nasty fall. However, after wearing them for about an hour I had some problems. First, the braces felt like they were being pushed out and I had to constantly push them down my wrist. My gloves helped keep them in the proper position. Second, after an hour the left wrist brace stitching fell apart at the palm and the metal bar was exposed. The plastic backing looked weak and I was surprised that my right wrist brace still held together. Lastly, when pushing off the ground with the braces on I felt the plastic backing on the palms start digging into the skin along the finger joints. I strongly recommend wearing wrist braces when snowboarding but the quality of the braces were poor.
Pros: Ease of use, Great value, Cons: Wears quickly, Bad design, Poor qualityBlack.
