A basic boot that offers lots of cushy comfort without any price-boosting bells and whistles, the DC Phase Snowboard Boots for men have a medium flex rating for dependable board control. Designed for free style riding from park hits to big powder lines, these DC boots are perfect for beginner to intermediate riders who are working on their all-mountain skills. The removable Command Liner Boots are treated with an Aegis™ antimicrobial coating to fight off stink, and have a directional mesh lining inside that lets your foot slide in easily and keeps your heel locked in place once inside. Anatomical J-bars support and secure your foot for optimal comfort and control. With traditional lacing, the DC Men's Phase Boots are easy to tie, and achieve a custom fit with their heat-moldable liners. Their lightweight and durable UNILITE™ soles have a Push Zone tread pattern for excellent traction on slick winter surfaces, and they resist snow build-up in the lugs.

This is a solid no frills boot that will keep your feet warm. A little stiffer than the average boot (which is a good thing in my opinion). I would suggest ordering one half to one full size bigger as these boots tend to run a little small. Altrec customer service is legit!
