Uphill hiking is about to get a lot more comfortable when you hoist the Deuter ACT Trail 20 SL Daypack. The Aircontact Trail (ACT) system at the back gives you padding where you need it while a middle channel pumps fresh air through to help dry out perspiration. The Slimline Women's Fit System (SL) is perfect for ladies or dudes with shorter backs with its comfy, contoured shoulder straps that are narrower and shorter, and a padded hipbelt that can change angle to fit male and female hip profiles.
So you know this Deuter backpack will be comfy, now on to the features. You have full access to your gear through the 2-way zipper on the front and lots of extra stashing-and-lashing options with a top lid, a front stretch pocket, side mesh pocket, zippered side pocket and trekking pole and ice axe loops too. The hydration sleeve accommodates a 3 liter reservoir (sold separately) and a hidden rain cover deploys from the bottom pocket if an unexpected squall rolls in. Premium German engineering and craftsmanship make this 20 liter pack the perfect carry-all for an easy dayhike with the family or a quick solo ascent of that peak you've been eyeing from your campsite.
5 out of 5

I tried this pack for the first time this weekend on a 10 mile hike. Was able to fit everything I needed for the day plus a few extras with room to spare. Fit was comfortable and felt stable (I'm 5'1 with an 18.5" torso). I loved having front access to the main compartment - made it really easy to gain access to items buried at the bottom. Not being much of a girly-girl, I also appreciate that it is available in black, while the cute (removable) flower is a nice touch. I've only used it once, but it feels durable and well constructed. The only addition that would have made it a perfect pack for me would be an zippered organizer pocket in the front - but that's just because I'm a neat freak and like every little thing to have it's 'spot'. All in all, this is a great pack, and when I'm ready to move up to backpacking, I'll definitely be looking at the Deuter line of products.Pros: Great design, Build quality, Ease of use
Best pack pack I ever have

Looking forward to using it in Hong Kong for hiking in Tung Chung. It is comfortable and can hold my hiking poles. There are pockets that can hold my bottle of drinking water & other stuff. It's terrific & I love it.Pros: Great design, Ease of use
