Good Bag
I purchased two of these for my girls, age 6 and 3. They are a good size for both of them. The Deuter quality is top notch. I have another Deuter bag which I have used for 10 years and it's still in good shape.
The bags are large enough to hold everything they need for a sleepover at G-ma's and small enough to use as a schoolbag.
It would be nice if there was a spot for a water reservoir inside the bag, but the side pocket does fine in holding their water bottles nice and snug.
If your kids are more ambitious than mine, there are clips on the top of the bag to load a sleeping bag or what have you.
The snaps are easy enough for little hands to snap and unbuckle without getting pinched.
Compared to similar bags in this price range I believe I made a good choice.

Perfect First Backpack for Kids
We're very happy with the Deuter Junior Pack. Works great with my four-year old for school, sports and backpacking. The pack is well constructed, handsome and has simple, useful features for kids. Definitely worth the $$.

we have bought these for our kids for emergency backpacks. they are sturdy, good quality. we like deuter.
