Like the its little brother, the Deuter Fox 40 Backpack - Kid's is built in the same style as the larger Aircontact trekking packs, but with 10 extra liters of volume and a slightly longer back length. This pack gives your child a little more time before they grow out of it.

Would definately recommend this pack.

I have a skinny 10yr old boy. We picked this pack up for skiing into huts and for climbing/hiking this summer. He has only used it for the huts so far but it works and fits great. The waist strap is padded just enough and actually fits his waist! Love it, a mini adult pack with lots of pockets and zippers. Wish there was a divider between the lg. main compartment and the bottom one but not a big deal. Overall, an excellent pack. Also got the Fox 30 for my 8 yr.old boy and it fits him great! No complaining, that's always a plus.
