Very small and light
November 05, 2009

I almost returned this when I first saw it because it looked way too tiny to carry anything, but I've been very pleasantly surprised. It carries a business casual change of clothes for work, wallet, even a light lunch. It's comfortable and light, and what I rely on to run to and from work now.

Exactly what we wanted!
July 07, 2010

This pack is exactly what we were looking for - something larger than a waist pack but not so large that it feels like a backpack. It's light and flexible, yet sturdy - perfect for a couple walking around town, on vacation day trips, or taking light hikes on trails, in the hills or along the beach - not too much; not too little. We saw two other couples with this pack before we bought it - now we're a walking advertisement just as they were!

Good running pack, not ideal for commuting
May 06, 2012

I was looking for a bag to run to work with, and carry a change of clothes, work shoes, and wallet keys etc. This pack could not fit all of it (had to leave shoes at the office the day before instead), so I returned it, and am upgrading to the Speed Lite 15, which ought to be a better fit. Running with the pack was fine, though the straps are a little fiddly.

Perfect for geocaching
August 21, 2009

This lightweight pack is perfect for my geocaching. It has a main compartment large enough for my camera, GPS receiver, light jacket and other small geocaching related items. The mesh side pockets stretch to accommodate larger objects like water bottles and make it easy to find my phone, keys and wallet. The mesh shoulder straps are very comfortable. And the pack doesn't look bulky on me.

Very cool pack

For such a light pack, this is tough, well designed, and well built.

good pack for running to/from work
January 01, 2010

Overall good construction. It's a little smaller than expected, but it hold a change of clothes - pants, top & undies - wallet, keys and still has room for a small lunch, so it's good for running to/from work. It has room for a bladder (camelback or the like), so it could also be used for long distance running/biking. The only issue I have is the chest strap, which might be a little difficult for above average female chests. It can be adjusted up or down, but not by a lot.

Exactly what I was looking for
August 18, 2009

Fits a change of street clothes (flip-flops, not shoes) and a small amount of toiletries. Has a pocket for my wallet and smartphone. Chest and waist straps work great. I run into work on a regular basis now!

Perfect for dayhikes
October 25, 2011

I just love this pack. Its perfect for dayhikes. Very comfortable. There are 3 areas to pack on the inside. The best part for me are the 2 clasps, one for the chest and one for the waist. I was surprized how much this pack held.

Perfect daypack!
May 24, 2011

I Love this pack! I wanted something really small, but that was comfortable, and wouldn't slide all around. And this is it! Just perfect. Shoulder straps are padded, so super comfortable, and chest and waist straps keep it in place on my bike or running. I mainly use it for hiking for an extra layer and a little food. Bought the streamer 2L insert, and it fits great. But works with a water bottle too. Also, the pack collapses to nothing, so it is perfect to take traveling, and the pull out for day trips. All the little details are done right, like extra loops to attach things too, loops on the zipper pulls and a small security pocket for valuables. Very good quality. I looked a long time, but finally found the perfect pack!

Pros: Great design, Build quality, Performance, Ease of use

Great little day pack
July 22, 2010

When I 1st opened it I thought, WOW! This is small.. but that's the beauty of it - perfect for walking/jogging into the office or a run around town; it is very fitted so it works for me as I wanted to incorporate running/jogging into work to get into better shape. You can fit underwear,a biz casual outfit and flip flops and a bottle of water. It has all (but not too many) of the side pockets you need for ID, cell phone, is a niche bag, but perfect for a city dweller who wants to ditch the car and the subway.......

Great Pack

Delivers as promised
March 01, 2013

I wanted a very lightweight, low profile backpack to carry around every day and maybe even on runs when I may need to pack a jacket or liquids. This Deuter fit the bill perfectly. It holds a hat, jacket, gloves, and a few other essentials - and nothing more, which is exactly what I wanted. If it carried anything more, I'd be carrying too much. Very narrow, too, so even stretching my arms back as far as I can, I can't touch the pack. Barely feels like you're wearing anything at all...

Pros: Great design, Build quality, Great value

Perfect for around town

Bought this bag for school. Fits a book and notebook perfectly. Nice and light. Seriously, a nice bag that wears nicely without any bulges.
