Great to protect child from weather & help nap
We've used the cover for the last month and a half and are happy with the quality and function. I've carried our son mostly in San Francisco - so we need protection from the wind and the rare sun. The also helps our son when he's fallen asleep in the pack - protects him from noise and any disturbances that could awake him. I hope we can try out the rain fly in the winter!

One accessory worth getting
I'm always bombarded with the option to buy accessories with stuff. But this accessory is definately worth it. Whenever we go hiking it's either sunny or raining so it gets plenty of use. In fact, I would say it's always on except when the sun is low on the horizon - wouldn't want our little one to get a sunburned face.

Works well
I like that it has a place for the rain cover built into the sun shade. The sun shade is a little loose when attached (it does not open all the way) as there is not enough tension to keep it open. Hard to find a place to pack it away when not in use.
