Named after the highest peak in Peru, the Dynafit Huascaran Freeride Touring Skis are the biggest skis in the Dynafit alpine touring line. Measuring in at a healthy 114mm underfoot (186cm), the Huascaran maintains Dynafit's light is right mantra, but breaks new ground in powder-minded dimensions for a European ski. Generous tip rocker and mild tail rocker are matched to light camber underfoot for a versatile and responsive ride in all backcountry conditions; the Huascaran knows few boundaries. It's a soft snow machine that serves up a smooth ride and maximum flotation. The rocker profile facilitates quick transitions and a surfy feel, while maintaining a stable and capable ride. The lightweight wood core is balanced with a hybrid fiberglass, carbon and Titanal laminate construction, and the Huascaran is compatible with all ski bindings, alpine touring and telemark.

I used this ski in deep powder and had a blast. 167's are usually a bit long for me, but I was able to turn these on a dime and stay forward. I used them in the backcountry on a deep powder day and had a such a great time that I went out and bought a pair.
Pros: Great design, Performance, Cons: Cost
