Description

Space saving is easy with the Eagle Creek Pack-It Compressor Sac Set. This set of space saving vacuum bags lets you seal bulky items for efficient and easy packing. Perfect for weekend getaways and extended travel, the ingenious system lets you roll the air out of one-way valves, leaving your items compressed to maximize space utilization. The package includes a small medium and large bag. The bags are reusable, and depending on the items compressed, you can reduce overall volume up to 80 percent. Use them to fit that extra jacket or to separate your dirty laundry while traveling. These space saving compression sacks can also be used to organize your clothing. Separate out your socks and underwear for easy locating, or use the compression sacks to group items for specific needs. Either way, you'll maximize your packing potential and be ultra organized with the Eagle Creek Pack-It Compressor Sac Set.

Pack-It Compression Sac Set (S/M/L)
December 11, 2012

This is exactly what I was looking for to help organize and consolidate my soft goods for traveling with limited capacity. The sacs of various sizes allow me to sort items by type (socks, shirts, underwear, etc.). The easy roll-up compression allows for repacking on the go.

Pros: Performance, Ease of use, Great value

Truly a Space Saver
August 24, 2010

our family went to kauai this summer using frequent flier miles. did not want to pay over U$300 for check in lugguage and was bent on only having carry-on for a 10 day trip. the compression sacs proved to be fabulous and shrank up our clothes so well. our 100% cotton hawaian shirts were not even wrinkled when i took them out. This is a great product especially with airline check-in challenges. I am getting more after i get my 20% off coupon. thank you.

Definite recommendation!

Great compression sacs! I wanted something for my carry-on to keep my dirty laundry in, and these fit the bill perfectly. Altrec had best price I could find online and they got my order to me quickly, so I am very satisfied!

Great concept and quality
March 21, 2011

These compression sacks are great. They allow me to compress my clothing and other soft goods when backpacking so they take up minimal space in my pack. They also give my packed clothing an added layer of protection against harsh weather conditions just in case my pack cover fails. I initially purchased the multi pack with the 3 different sizes but later opted for 2 medium sized compression bags. I initially used the small for storing my tent, which worked well enough, and later for my girlfriends clothing - the large was too large for any of my needs, and the medium got used for my clothing. I opted to send back the set because really a traditional style compression sack was better for my tent and fly, and I preferred the medium sized bag to accommodate bulkier cold weather clothing. The bags maintain compression very well and I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a tool-less way to store soft goods flat. Easy to pack back up when leaving camp.

Pros: Great design, Build quality, Lasts forever, Performance, Ease of use, Great value

Suitcase Space Saver
January 22, 2010

I used it to save space in my suitcase for a cruise. I packed more into the same space and did not go over weight (for the airlines). Kept my Tee shirts and Shorts wrinkle free, even the underwear did not wrinkle! Great product, I gotta buy more!

great value!
May 15, 2011

I bought these for my trip to New Zealand. They helped keep all of my clothes neat, dry and compressed. They have thick plastic and are easy to use. Everyone complimented me on how I packed so light (little did they know I had packed just as much as a normal woman would). The friend that went with me was so impressed with them he went out and bought some right away! I can't speak for other compression bags but you won't be sorry if you buy these!

Pros: Great design, Build quality, Ease of use, Great value

Great for organization and compression
June 08, 2009

With the new airline regulations, I wanted to be able to travel with only one carry-on bag. These compression sacs were the only way I was able to get everything I needed into the bag. I also found I was able to keep things better organized. Coming home, the swimsuits hadn't had a chance to dry, so putting them in the compression sacs kept them isolated and the rest of my clothes stayed dry. Great idea!

Essential travel bags
July 14, 2011

I LOVE these bags. They are so easy to use and make packing light even easier when traveling. I have used them numerous times on weekend trips in the states and even longer trips to Central and South America. They help to keep everything organized and you can keep your dirty and/or wet items separate from everything else when you're on the move. Highly recommended!

packing bags
January 16, 2011

I have never used an item like this so I can't compare but I must say these really do work well. I was amazed at how much more I was able to pack and having 3 different sized helped me keep organized. It works so well for sweaters and jackets. The little seal slider does slide off sometimes but it slides right back on.

Pros: Great design, Ease of use, Great value

5 Stars
January 26, 2010

We are going to Europe this spring and want to limit packing size. We bought some compression bags from Rick Steve's. They were great for departmentalizing stuff, however would not stay compressed. I spent more and bought Eagle Creek and now have compressed clothes and departmentalized stuff. Extremely happy with product. You get what you pay for. Five stars

Great For Traveling With Lots of Clothes
April 20, 2009

I bought this set for my son, who is traveling to Thailand for three weeks and wanted to be able to take just one piece of luggage & a carry-on. He said the compression set, along with the folders & packing cubes allowed him to fit everything in with ease!

Great for Travel-Actually Stay Compressed
February 27, 2011

I've used compression bags in the past, but so many of them don't stay compressed-these really do. They are durable and easy to use, and having three sizes to choose from means that I have a variety of options when it comes time to pack.

Pros: Performance, Ease of use

AN UPDATE TO MY REVIEW
August 04, 2009

The 3 piece compression sacks were a great aid in getting organized, staying organized, minimizing wrinkling, and freeing up space in the backpack. For my spouse and daughter we found 'similar' sacks at a Columbia outlet and at Walmart. Yes, they were cheaper but only the Eagle Creek set allowed one to seal the sack and then roll out the air to attain tight compression. Both SAID they did this on the packaging--but that was not true AT ALL.
