A nice item to have
January 27, 2011
Experience: I've been traveling all over the world for past 20 years. I've backpacked (as well as luxury travel & business travel) over 30+ countries. I'm still flying internationally on a monthly basis, racking over 120,000 miles a year for work - you can say I live out of the suitcase. At first when I saw this item, I was kind of skeptical - why would I need to pay almost $30 to pack my dress shirts/pants/etc. With plenty of travel knowledge and experience, for traveling light or really taking it easy with big suitcases - I felt like I didn't need it. My friend highly recommended it and stands by it - so I finally decided to pull the trigger. I have to say - it works well! It is easy to use, folding with the card makes it easy and keeps the wrinkle off dress shirts/pants. Less ironing after a long flight and meetings the next day! The compression helps keep things organized and flat - more space for other things. I think it helps more when you are carrying a duffel bag, soft bag, backpack - this helps keep the form of clothes better. The pack-it-folder also acts as a hard bottom. I'm glad I brought this however I only gave it 4 stars due to cost. If the cost was a bit lower or item goes on sale, I think it would make it a better buy. The cost of the item is easily 1/3 or more the cost of the most duffel bag or backpacks. I'm overall an efficient packer and I can live without this. For my hard luggage/suitcase, I probably would not use it. Especially since most carry-on hard cases comes with suit holder. However I think this is a good addition, and where I will get the most use out of it is when I'm carrying duffel bags or soft luggage. If people want a easier packer for dress shirts/pants and/or organizer compression, I would recommend it.Pros: Build quality, Ease of use, Cons: Cost
Really great packing aid

I purchased two Pack-Its after seeing a friend use them. They are easy to use, the clothes unfold with almost no wrinkling, and the clothes stay organized in the suitcase. I will definitely buy a few more for future trips.
great for packing

I have various items from the Eagle Creek Pack-It range and love them all but this one is the best. Fold your clothes easily, throw it in a suitcase, grab it and slide out what you want to wear. No need to mess up the whole suitcase to find one thing. I do trips where I stay one or a few nights in multiple locations and this gem makes the packing, unpacking, packing, unpacking.......routine so much easier. I like the 18" size. The only downside to the pack-it items is that they add weight but they are worth the extra ounces.Pros: Great design, Build quality, Ease of use
A great packing aid

The Pack-it-Folder was recommended to me by my brother and now I recommend it to everyone. I also give them as gifts. I just love things that work correctly and this keeps clothes from shifting and becoming wrinkled in the suitcase. The 18" size fits in a carry-on and since I try to use carry-on luggage only this really helps. Get different colors to identify what each unit contains. A high quality item and sturdily built. Two thumbs (way) up!

I picked one up a couple of months ago and have used it many times since then and Im super happy with it. It was one of those purchases were I was thinking do I really need this? and now Im so glad that I did pick it up. Great organizer, keeps things neat, and compresses clothes so I can fit more in the bag. I also recommend the other Pack Its that I picked up as well (Tube, Shoe, Half Cube, etc.) again one of those things were you think to yourself Ive survived all my life without these so why would I need them now? well, once you get them youll be glad that you did. And there is no doubt that theyll last the rest of my life so in the grand scheme of things they are actually one of my best purchases ever. I did get everything in Black and now Im thinking that if I had to do it over again Id go with different colors just to make it that much easier to pick stuff out.
Both Work Great....

We used the Pack-Its on a 25 day trip to Australia and New Zealand. They are great. We grouped like clothing (i.e., tops, slacks, undergarments), and it was easy to unpack. The garments were not as wrinkled as they tend to be when loose in your luggage. I will buy more and will begin giving them as gifts.
