Multi-purpose Lock and Cable

The lock can be used with or without the cable. I have used the lock with the cable to secure a small suit case and/or a backpack in motel rooms that do not have a safe. It also worked great on a week long sailing adventure. Valuables felt safe securely locked in my backpack with the cable fastened to a fixed object in our state room. I usually travel with a couple locks and cables. I take them with me on all of my trips.

This is a nice inexpensive form of a little peace of mind. It works well for luggage and backpacks. I also use it for a snowboard while having lunch or taking a break on the slopes.

great for securing backpacks and luggage when travelling in foreign ccountry train,bus or airport stops. chain allows luggage and backpacks to be locked while you are away in the bathroom or getting food at travel stops
