Great grab and go pack
March 05, 2011
This backpack is presentable in a city. The size is perfect as a carry-on on a flight or to pack the necessities for a casual overnight trip. The waist band tucks away into a compartment and most of the straps have stretchy bands to eliminate dangling straps. Unfortunately the shoulder straps dont have the bands. My favorite thing about the pack is the clever organizer. It is located on the seam next to the shoulder straps, so is rather low profile. It has places for a phone, PDA, and holds a pair of sunglasses will room to spare. It is easy to get into and well designed. On the exterior there is a spacious front outside pocket that holds computer cords or spare gloves. The two small side pockets hold a travel umbrella or small water bottle. They do zip, so could securely hold anything small. Inside there is a small pouch pocket, not padded, although my small laptop fits, in its padded sleeve. Its a great grab and go pack, low profile with just a few things in it, but holds a lot when fully packed. All zippers operate nicely and it looks like another quality Eagle Creek pack to add to my collection. I would give it five stars if it had bands on the shoulder straps to keep the loose straps tidy. I also wish it didnt have the compression straps as I was looking for a clean urban pack.
Pros: Great design, Build quality, Performance, Ease of use, Great value
