The rain fly works really well. I love anything Eagles Nest Outfitters make. It is a little heavy. But not too bad. Keeps the rain and morning dew off of you really well.

Great tarp for hammock camping
July 02, 2011
I use this tarp with a Lawson camping hammock(which I see Altrec also carries). It offers full coverage for rain while still affording great views while lounging in the hammock, which the Lawson supplied rain fly does not. It's made of good quality materials. The guy lines are plenty long and have a nifty tightening adjustment which makes setup very easy.
Great utility tarp

My wife and I took our daughter (9) for her first camping trip this past weekend. The Pro Fly came in extremely handy, it was the first piece of gear out of our packs and was setup as a windscreen for our campfire spot, subsequently used as covered area for our gear. The Pro Fly is well constructed, takes up virtually no space and is light as a feather. Quickly finding it's way to be being my favorite piece of gear.

The only negative about this product is that it doesn't come with stakes and must be purchased separately. I think that for the price, they should be included, since stakes are necessary for setting it up.
Total upgrade from fast fly
November 09, 2011
I ordered this for my boyfriend for an upcoming hammock camping trip and he was very excited to try it out! He currently has the fast fly tarp and it has worked fairly well but he is 6'1" and when it rains water sometimes blows in from the sides or near the head and feet. Compared to the fast fly, the pro fly is a true upgrade for rain protection, which is important obviously when using a down sleeping bag this time of year! The only thing that would make this better is if it went all the way down and had doors for total protection, but ha for the price, not much beats this ;) Now I can take over his old one since I am smaller and this works out perfectly. I would def recommend this to others interested in camping with a hammock instead of a tent.
Pros: much more coverage, pretty light weightBlack, Camo, Grey, Navy and Olive.
