Don’t be fooled by the low profile of the Men’s ECCO Tahoe Hiking Shoes, these are full on hiking shoes. They are heavier than running shoes and offer the support of a hiking boot without the bulk. Made from rich yak nubuck leather with a breathable textile lining these serious hiking shoes have more than meets the eye. The special Receptor® technology mirrors human motion and the foot’s sensory nerve-ending cells, or receptors to provide ample stability, extra strength and a better sense of terrain. With bumpers that cover the toe and heel areas and performance rubber on the outsole that reaches high up the sides, these hiking shoes are ready to take on the toughest terrain.

Great all around shoe

After reading the prior review deceided to purchase a pair for myself and I was not disapointed. Fit was great right out of the box. Would recommend this ecco and hope ecco keeps this style.

The shoes are sturdy, warm, and comfortable. Waterproof helps to keep my feet dry! Grip is super! Only complain is the arch support is too high, arch supports is not necessary actually. And Altrec shipped them lightening fast Overall a great buy!

These shoes are just right in all ways.Firm support. True to size. Durable yak leather and they feel great . This is my sixth pair of Ecco's . I am a shoe nut . These shoes are right on.

The most comfortable Hiking Shoe

I live in Colorado and hike daily over rough terrain. I also have flat feet and have difficulty finding shoes that are well built and sturdy. The ECCO Tahoe Hiking shoe has all the qualities, without any break-in period, I need to keep me comfortable for even the longest hikes. It has the best arch supprt I have found in any shoe I have purchased. I was anxiuus ordering it online because I was not certain of the European to US conversion that you have to make. Turns out the fit is perfect and I intend to order another pair in the very near future. I have already recommeded the shoe to all my hiking buddies.

Great rugged outdoor shoe

Well done Ecco. Yet again Ecco has made a very rugged and comfortable shoe. I work in Kabul, Afghanistan and find myself coming across several different types of terrain. The Tahoe seems to handle them all well. This is the closest shoe that Ecco has made that was similar the original Ultra Terrain Orbo. Unfortunately large shoe companies like Ecco frequently discontinue great shoes! The Tahoe is lightweight, breathable and has a very hardy sole. I hope they continue this line as I will definitely be buying another pair. I recommend this as a great outdoor shoe from a quality shoe company. I have about 7-8 pairs of Ecco shoes. You will not be disappointed.
