My second pair of Ecco hiking boots. Unfortunately, I outgrew the first pair (which I loved and used for four years). This new pair is even better than I expected. When I received them, I laced them up, and went out for a long hike. Awesome comfort, with no break-in. I did remove the insoles and replace them with Superfeet insoles which I have always used in hiking boots. My feet are narrow and low-volume, but these Ecco boots fit great! They have good traction in mud, as I recently discovered. I am a 70-year old woman who hikes at least twice a week, and I have hiked in 47 National Parks in the past fifteen years. My height is 5'5"' weight...125. Can't say enough good about these Eccos! I tried three other pairs of boots before I discovered that Ecco is still number one for me!
