Hang Comfortably
December 14, 2011

I purchased the Hammock for a trip I was taking and was looking to cut weight and space. The ENO hammock did both and came with a convenient stuff sack. Once on the trail it was super simple to set up and was very comfortable to lay in. The material wrapped around you nicely and there were no seams or knots to jab your back as you tried to sleep. I'm a bigger guy at 6'1" and 210lbs and I never doubted the ability of the hammock to support me. I was more worried about my own knots. For a minimalist hammock this is an excellent choice.

Pros: lightweight, packable, heavy duty, easy to set up/take down, lots of accessories if you need them

Great Hammock!!
June 21, 2011

This is a great hammock for backpacking!! I love it because it is so small when all packed together. Its light weight too so great for day hikes and ultralight backpacking.

Pros: small, Cons: have to buy straps

I can see why it has so many 5's.
May 01, 2010

This hammock is listed as a single but it is big enough and has enough capacity for two. We bought the Bliss straps and they work great. It may be a shade heavy for packing if you carry a tent but with the straps both are under a pound and that's hard to beat. It's light, can handle two and has hard to beat construction for the price.

Great

Light weight and comfortable on my 6' 4" 190 frame. Highly recommend it.

Another 5 star review for ENO
April 19, 2013

First off, this hammock is very durable for the weight. When not using it for backpacking I keep it on my front porch where it is subject to a little rain and sun and a good amount of wind. It stayed out there most of the Winter (I know, it shouldn't have) and it has NO evidence of wear. Impressive. Secondly, it is very comfortable. Be sure to sleep in it diagonally to keep your back straight. This is how Eno recommends you use it. The stuff pocket doubles as a place to keep gear overnight. Don't you love multiple use features? This may be a little off topic, but I would strongly recommend the SingleNest over the ProNest, especially for climbers. You can make a SingleNest almost a light as a ProNest with the use of lightweight climbing carabiners that you will probably have on your adventure anyway. Plus the Single comes in way cooler colors. Thats it. Click buy!

Great great great.
May 25, 2009

I love mine after about two years of ownership. I use it at home in the yard. Camping, hiking, whenever. I just bought two more as thank-you gifts for a friend and his dad for the generous use of their cabin in the mountains this month.

Wake me when it's over
November 28, 2011

Superior napping hammock! Be sure to purchase the separate tree straps for secure set up. This is a perfect one person hammock for a light afternoon nap or overnight camping. Comfy for one adult. Be prepared to defend your turf because as soon as your friends/family try this hammock out you'll have a hard time getting it back.

Pros: light weight, easy set up, Cons: be sure to purchase tree straps to put this up

Great Purchase, Great Price
December 21, 2011

I have the Double Deluxe ENO hammock, and needed an extra for my friends that don't hike/camp as often. Truly a great buy even for people who only camp a few times a year. The quality is worth every penny. The Single Nester is light weight, and easy to pack up and take on the go!

Pros: light weight, extremely durable, easy to pack

Great Hammock!
August 26, 2011

Never used a hammock before. Bought this hammock after reading reviews. Received the hammock and used on a backpacking trip. I have to say that this was a great purchase! Will definately use in the future. Now the problem I have is trying to figure out a way to use it at my home. Probably will have to install some eye bolts in the wall, so I can hang it. Would recommend this hammock to anyone! I love it!

Pros: lightweight, comfortable, easy to set-up and use, fit my 6'5 235 lb. build, Cons: none

Good product
November 22, 2012

I've enjoyed using the hammock quite a bit. I'm 6'2", 220 lbs, and it's proved very durable. It packs very small, and does not weigh much at all. Overall, a good product.

Pros: lightweight, durable

Absolutely Essential
April 04, 2009

I got an eno about a month ago. Can't get enough of it! I use it at home, bring it on the trail, I'm looking at buying the bug net and rain fly so i can sleep in it. THIS IS A MUST HAVE!

September 28, 2010

The quality of my ENO single nest hammock is through the roof. Its crazy easy to use and transport. I love it!!! Set it up in my college house in my bedroom with 2 i-bolts in studs, incredibly sturdy and durable. Lots of fun, relaxing, the best piece of college furniture i bought and spent 1000 dollars on my room. The Bag, clips, triple seam stitching and cord make this product seemingly indestructible. A great purchase for outdoors or indoors. Highly recommend this product!!!

Pros: Great design, Build quality, Lasts forever, Performance, Ease of use, Great value

Excellent Product
July 28, 2012

I use this along with the rainfly and bug net every camping trip. It is extremely comfortable and I can get a great nights sleep in it. This hammock completely replaced my tent. I just use a sleeping bag with it. Would highly recomend it.

Pros: durable, comfortable

Good quality and very comfortable.

Couldn't ask for a better hammock to take camping or to just lay around in. Very satisfied with my purchase.

June 17, 2008

A cool product light weight for sure and packs honestly into the size of a grapefruit. Not sure how durable it is yet since i just recently got it but it held with me and my two little neices playing on it, 280+ pounds and held well.

Better Than a Cot
July 06, 2012

I just got back from a week long stay @ Scout Camp here in Texas. The past two years I have slept in a tent w/ a cot. This year I slept all week long in the single nest hammock. I was much cooler as the air circulated under me. The fabric is very durable and breathes. It was very easy to set up between two trees and I was the envy of the troop. I would highly recommend this product,

Pros: light weight sleeping option

ENO Single and Doublenest owner: Great hammock
September 05, 2010

Not the most lightweight hammock, and better choices around for camping hammocks (e.g warbonnet blackbird, hennessy), but for a simple, ready-to-use hammock for napping on a summer day, ENO's rule. Singlenest better for one person small-medium size (under 200 pounds), and Doublenest for those larger or 2 people. These do stain easily with suntan lotion or any oil--it's the nature of this fabric. Picking darker color when you order is better in that regard (but still visible and washing doesn't remove). Also, although the bright fabrics are very eye-catching, once you use the hammock in the outdoors, you may wish you had something a tad more stealthy in nature--olive/khaki for instance attracts fewer mosquitos and "gawkers" ("Hey, Vern, can I sit in your hammock?") and police/natural resources officers ("Ah, buddy, could you get that hammock off the tree now. I said NOW!") The Slapstraps are stretchy and not great, better adjustability and weight are Jacks Or Better Tri-glides for the same price (Google it). If one is getting the ENO and wants to camp, rather than the bugnet and small ENO trap (think, wet!) or Onelink, you'd be much better served to check out warbonnet hammocks. I have both systems and ENO is not a great system overall. It's just a reasonable hammock, the DN or SN, if you get better straps, for a summer day on the beach (without suntan lotion). :-)

Easy to set up, but make sure you buy the slap straps, too. Comfortably fits one person. Great for camping trips or backyard adventures! Storage is very simple as well; the bag stays attached to the hammock and acts as a pocket when the hammock is hung.

Cannot give enough praise!
May 13, 2011

I was pretty skeptical about buying a hammock because every one I've ever had has not worked out. But this hammock is amazing! It doesn't look like much when you put it up but it really can hold you. And it stays on the tree with the straps. It's very hard to fall off, I've actually tried...., and I love the pink/khaki color!

LOVE IT
May 19, 2010

Terrific Hammock, I just ordered 2. The storage pouch is part the hammock so it never gets lost. It is made of very, light weight fabric so it breathes and you stay cool. I love the different color combinations. It was hard to make a choice but I chose NAVY and OLIVE

Mine fell apart in 15 months
August 12, 2010

The ends where the hammock is held by the rope have frayed, so I am concerned it might break. It was a gift so without a receipt, ENO will do nothing about it, bad deal.

Great Buy!
May 11, 2011

I've only had this hammock for a week, but I'm in love. It was so easy to put up, especially with the slapstraps that i would also recommend, and pack away. The bag that it comes with stays attacked. When altrec shipped it it was really compact in the bag and when I pulled it out I didn't think I would be able to stuff it back in, but to my surprise I was able to fit it back in with room to spare. I can take it anywhere and am so excited about that! I'm also glad I bought it from here because I was able to save a ton on shipping! Totally suggest this! :) so much fun and RELAXing! ;)

Pros: compact, price, colors, easy to use

Great Buy!
May 18, 2011

I love this hammock! I've used it nearly every other day since I got it 2 weeks ago! It's great quality and hand made. The thin material kind of freaked me out when I first pulled it out of the pouch, but I trusted it. When I ordered it, I didn't know I would need straps for easy, anywhere use so I ordered the ENO SlapStrap hammock system the next day and had to pay separate shipping. It's taken me maybe 4 minutes MAX to put it up every time that I have!

i really like it

July 27, 2010

I love this hammock. It is super light, extremely durable, and comfortable. I will never go backpacking again without it. Instant comfort in the most unforgiving environments. I also have the pro series slapstraps and they too are fantastic. super simple setup, just add trees.

I just got my hammock straps, and bug net and love it! I've only been able to set up in the back yard for try out but I still think its the best! It took UNDER 5 min to set up! comfortable, sturdy, and strong material that seems like it will last. I'm definitely eager to get out on the trail with this soon... it light and small with compression straps, perfect for the backpacker. HIGHLY recommend!

May 11, 2012

This is a good and durable product. Has excellent durability. Even it's not the lightest hammock on the market it's price right to my opinion. The length is enough for my height, (I'm 6.1 ). The only change I recommend to manufacturer are compressing straps on the packing bag. The one I have don't hold bag compressed for long time.

I love my eno hammock! I've wanted a hammock for a longtime and after my boyfriend bought an eno he told me this was the only brand to go with. I trusted him and I'm not disappointed. The fabric is so lightweight and cool. I got the purple and pink color which I love. (everywhere but altrec offered nothing but boy colors) I love that it is big enough for me to wrap myself up in it to keep bugs out!! Its is really compact and so easy to put up with the eno slap straps.

Great Hammock
April 25, 2012

I absolutely love my ENO hammock. It packs up so small that I often forget that I have a hammock with me. With the tree straps it can go just about anywhere and sets up with minimal effort. The design of the hammock makes it ideal to close over your face to sleep. I take it on all of my travels and have used it in many tropical locations. The only downside of this hammock is that it can create a bit of a greenhouse effect in bright sun. I Highly recommend for any backpacking or leisure activities

Outstanding
April 30, 2010

I have purchased them for everyone in my family, have used one in conditions from snow to Maryland humid summers. With the slap straps, setup and takedown is quick and easy, it's quick to recover from wet, has always been comfortable, and if I ever do wear it out I'd buy another. Size wise, it fits well my son at 6'4", myself at 260 lbs, and my daughters at 110lbs apiece. I will confess that I have had my 40 lb dog snoozing in it with me with no problems (combined weight greater than 300lb).

Exactly what I needed!!

Our family loves this hammock
December 10, 2011

I selected the ENO hammock because I was worried lighter-weight hammocks, though more compact and pack worthy, would not stand up to the abuse I knew my kids and their friends and cousins would deliver. We have not been disappointed. This hammock is small and light enough to bring everywhere (day hikes, car camping, walk-in camping, to the park,...) and durable enough for kids to play in. It has become essential gear for us. Highly recommended.

Pros: packs small, durable, a fun treat on the trail, a diversion for kids at the campsite, Cons: we need two!
