The Tetragon 7 is a well-designed tent that is fairly easy to set up, with good cross ventilation, a useful protected entryway, and handy gear loft pockets. Although I've only used it for one season, I expect to get many years of use from it. (It's replacing a previous Eureka tent that lasted 8-9 years). My one dissatisfaction with this tent is that not all the seams are factory pre-sealed. In the instructions , they recommend that you apply sealant to both the floor and fly seams, and they do NOT include a tube of seam sealer for you to do this. Overall, I'm pleased with this purchase.
Pros: Great design, Build quality, Great valueWrite a review for the Eureka Tetragon 3 Tent here.
16 years of hail and lightning
July 06, 2008
i had this for 16 years and it hold up great. there was a tornado warning and there was hail lightning and a ton of rain. then one day after a camp of 7 days, at that camp the rain fly tore, i was airing it out when the zipper broke and the mesh on the door ripped. it was tragic. it was my first tent. it took some beatings and some repairs. but after 16 years it died.
great tent!

I bought this tent for solo car camping. Plenty of space. Great in all weather. Have also shared it with a friend for a festival. She loved it and her and her husband bought one as well. My husband and i use it for quick campouts when we don't feel like putting up our large 11x11 Eureka. It will hold a queen sized air mattress and nothing else.Good breath ability and protection from rain. 3 people could sleep in it, but very snug. Could work for 3 person backpacking.
