First: NOT a zero degree sleeping bag unless you are a fatty (no offense meant). I am a skinny twig of a man and I did not sweat at all sleeping in this bag inside my house with the heat on. I did try this bag outside in 30 degree weather and I was comfortable. I was using the prescribed base layer with a one inch sleeping pad inside a tent with one other person with me. But I would not try this bag in under 30 degrees if you are a skinny bean pole like me and like to be really warm usually.

This is a warm sleeping bag and a good value at an excellent price. Kinda tight at shoulders though, so keep that in mind when ordering.

This is a warm sleeping bag and a good value at an excellent price. My only warning is if you are checking the measurements for the most compact bag, as I did, be aware that stuffing this bag back into it's stuff sack is very difficult. I plan to purchase a larger stuff sack for it. The stuff size is a bit misleading. I have to say that my experiences with Altrec have been above and beyond most every retailer around. The CSR was friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, and made an extra effort to see that this shipped sooner, by calling the warehouse directly. She also matched the price on another site and discounted the total order. I am so impressed with t his company that I will always check here first when I am in the market for sports gear.
