light & easy
November 19, 2012
This pillow is light, easy to inflate (three breaths) and versitile with respect to comfort (vriations in height, soft fabric on one side). It's not noisy and is made to attach to an Exped air mattress, if desired. I'd say it's worth the weight.
Pros: light, easy to inflate and deflate, comfortable, quiet, Cons: a bit costlyPerfect, Perfect, Perfect

I am a middle-aged backpacker and although I try to minimize weight, I cannot sleep without a pillow. I have been waiting for the perfect backpackers' pillow and this is it. I even wrote to Therma-Rest after purchasing a NeoAir that they should make a pillow with the same technology. Well, Exped beat them to the punch. This pillow weighs just 3 ounces and is the size of a sleeve of golfballs. It only takes 2-3 puffs for inflation. Its contours cradle your head for maximum comfort. Being so small and light, it just makes sense to carry this pillow. I will skimp on weight some other place. I also use it in cars and airplanes. I have done the research and purchased most of the alternatives on the market. My recommendation is spend the money to buy this pillow. You will not be disappointed.
Pros: Great designgreat pillow

I love this product! Pillow is very comfortable, can be inflated to desired firmness. Pillow is very lightweight and packs up very compact. Only negative is it that is very pricey. However, since I am fussy about pillows, I thought it was worth it for a good comfortable nights sleep when out on the trail .
Pros: comfortable, lightweight, Cons: expensiveThe Best There Is!

Amazing shape and contour. Extremely comfortable. I love that it has a thicker side for proper neck support. My head is rather large and heavy, so having the right position to get a good nights sleep is a must. It inflates in about 2 good breaths. You can easily adjust the firmness by letting small amounts of air out of it through the special inflate valve. I love how firm you can make it as well. It has a very soft breathable material that stretches well. It weighs virtually nothing and stores to a size smaller than my fist. I will never be found in the woods without it. I love this pillow! If you are looking for the best portable pillow out there, this is it.

the pillow folds up into a teeny tiny stuff sack and weighs so little, i don't feel bad about bringing it on even my most minimalist journeys. it only takes a breath or two to inflate it. great!!

Outstanding product. Made very well and thoughtfully designed. The pillow deflates and folds into a stuff sack that fits in the palm of your hand. It easily inflates with 2-3 breaths. It has a large opening for rapid delfation when it is time to go. It is very comfortable with a soft fabric covering and it definately beats folding up your jacket for use as a pillow. They also include a repair kit in case your pillow somehow springs a leak. For the weight conscious back packer, the pillow, stuff sack, and repair kit all weigh in at about three ounces. This pillow may be just a little bit pricey, but you know what they say, you get what you pay for. And they are right.
