Exped Air Pillow
October 30, 2012

I do 200 sit ups each morning, and needed something under my tailbone to avoid painful sores. At home I use a full length exercise mat, but on the road, I needed something portable yet effective. I tried things like pillows (don't work) and Play Doh(tm) inside a plastic bag (they leak.) The Exped Air Pillow looks like the best solution for me. I can inflate it just enough to keep my rear end off the ground. More important for me, though, it folds into a tiny pouch for travelling. As a bonus, I have a comfortable seat on buses, planes, trains, and cars if I need one. I may even carry it backpacking. It is a bit pricey, but the multiple uses I'll hopefully get from it should offset the cost.

Pros: Great design, Ease of use, Cons: Cost
