Great product, buy it!!

My wife and I purchased these as a wedding gift. We figured it was worth the cost of having a good nights sleep. It has been over a year and we love them!! These have been used with backpacking in cold Alberta and BC camping during cold rainy weather and it was great to be insulated off the ground. The integrated pump works just fine and the construction is made to last. For the size and cost its worth a good night sleep.Pros: Great design, Build quality, Ease of use

Three nights camping in Colorado mountains, and I can easily say I got the best sleep I've ever had sleeping on the ground. I have the extra large version because I am 6'5" and figured a few more ounces to carry are worth it for better sleep. So right! Inflation pump takes a few minutes, but does the job and isn't bothersome when sleeping. I slept with my 15 degree bag open over me and the Synmat under me. Never would have done that without the insulation. Not slippery or loud. I loved the thickness for hips and shoulders to sink in deep.Pros: Great design, Build quality, Ease of use, comfort
Great piece of gear

Got one of these pads for mountaineering. It is much more comfortable and easy to inflate than the other pads I have used in the past. Highly recommend picking one up.

I love this sleeping pad. It's proved as comfortable for guests sleeping on my hardwood floors at home as it has camping in the woods. The built-in pump really sets it apart from other inflatable pads, especially since I got the largest size and don't want to have to hyperventilate blowing that up myself. I also like how small it rolls up. It's super thick and comfy, guaranteeing a good nights sleep anywhere I go. That said, I use this one mostly for car-camping, and pack an ultralight one for backpacking.Pros: Great design, Build quality, Performance, Ease of use
Write a review for the Exped SynMat 7 here.
Very compact yet very thick.

I plan on using it while touring on a motorcycle this summer. I need something small yet able to provide good insulation for cold climates and lots of padding to sleep on. I was not sure whether the new NeroAir from Thermarest would be a better mat, but I can assure for the little more space that this takes up it would choose this mat over any Thermarest product.
As good as advertised!

I got the Synmat 7 in June on a whim. I took it to the Grand Tetons for 5 of the best trail nights ever - sleepwise. The extra thickness made all the difference. And the SynMat 7 fits my Thermarest Chair!
