First Class Cotton Shirt
March 03, 2012
I love this shirt: Very soft and comfortable in the fit, sizing is perfect for me to layer another shirt underneath and, of course, its Filson quality. I am 5'11" and the large is a little big but that is fine. Usually I do not care too much for cotton but this is very wind resistant and just a great shirt to go for afternoon strolls with your better half. Probably not what I would carry into the backwoods but its great for everyday use, even good enough for work. Filson is a little pricey but this was on sale....
Pros: Great design, Build quality, Lasts foreverOutstanding

Great shirt. Very warm but also comfortable. Feels broken-in the first time on. Very rugged-looking. I love this shirt for working outdoors, hunting, fishing, or just sitting by the fire and sipping whiskey at the end of the day.

Well first off im going to say i love this shirt. i was a bit hesitant at first to order it because i like my shirts more fitted than baggy, im 5 11 and 150lbs and i ordered the small, it was a bit larger than i would have liked but i washed it in hot and dried it on high and it shrunk up pretty well. It is very warm and have worn it every day since i received it. its been about as cold as it ever gets here (so calif) all this keeps me super warm. i will be ordering several more in the future.
Pros: Build quality, Lasts forever, Performance, Ease of useStill going after years of wear

I purchased several of these 8 years ago, and they have been reliable even after extended heavy use. They are still good looking, and a regular part of my everyday attire when in cooler climates.

A Fantastic Shirt

This is exactly what I have come to expect from Filson. Heavy-duty, well-made. It doesn't look silly or stupid. They call it "brushed twill," but it's really the finest flannel shirt I have ever owned.
A true classic!

Filson's Alaska Guide shirt is simply the best flannel shirt available. It`s not only a true classic, it is a warm and functional shirt. This shirt gets better with age and wear. I have worn both this guide shirt and the moleskin version for over a decade. If they ever wear out, I will replace them. This shirt runs small, order a size up. It is definitely worth the price!
Pros: Build quality, Lasts forever, cost is relativeShirt

Filson makes good looking, tough, well-made clothing. I just wish Filson had a better color selection for extra long people like me. I bought a regular size XXL shirt to get the right color, when it would be better if the shirt were XL size but longer and not s bulky XXL size.
Pros: Great design, Build quality, Lasts forever, Performance, Cons: poor color selectionFilson Men's Alaskan Guide Shirt Photo
