I bought this jacket for my hiking trips that I take on a regular basis. It has been very comfortable and keeps me warm on the cold days that I've gone on hikes. The many pockets are great for carrying a snack when needed for extra energy when on the trail. I have found that this is the most comfortable jacket I've ever bought and would recommend this for anyone looking for a quality jacket.Pros: Great design, Build quality, Lasts forever, Performance, Ease of use, Great value
Very nice coat

Filson makes a very good coat. It technically runs true to size, however if you are wearing heavy clothes underneath like a sweatshirt, its a little tight. Also, while this coat is warm, it won't handle the weather by itself. However, the coat is very nice looking, and the pockets are great. I expect to have this coat for a while.Pros: Build quality, Ease of use, Cons: Cost

Here in northern Virginia the winters can get pretty cold. I was looking for a coat to provide the comfort and warmth needed during these cold winter days from anything to going to the store, the office or to go hunting. The Yukon looks is perfect for all those things. I am 61, and weigh 185 pounds and the large fits pretty close to perfect. The coat is roomy enough so that I can layer it with a sweater or fleece, and the drawstring waist helps keep the wind out. The 24-oz. wool is a really nice weight, and I like it that the material is softer and not as stiff as some other wool jackets I have had in the past.Pros: Great design, Build quality, Lasts forever

I have finally found a wool jacket that sits below the waist, allows me to have full range of motion in my arms without the jacket creeping up on me and being too tight in the chest. I'm 6 ft and 200 lbs. The quality of this jacket is evident in the stitching and perfectly lined up seams. It is well thought out and is quickly becoming my favorite jacket. I also like the snaps on the pockets instead of buttons. I definitely recommend this jacket!Pros: Great design, Build quality, Performance

I like this jacket very much: It fits very well. It has a modest and functional design. It also keeps me warm with 2 cotton layers beneath on my minnesota winter night saunters. I am 5' 11" and 155 pounds and the small fits me perfectly. It is not too tight nor too loose around my chest. The jacket extends below my waist, which I like very much. With my arm extended the end of the jacket sleeves rests just before my wrist. The front pockets are large enough to carry an average sized paperback book without any inconvenience. The hand warmer pockets are very nice. I especially like the zipper breast pocket. It is very easy to access, and I am comfortable storing my keys and so forth in it. After shoveling during a wet snowfall a few weeks ago, I was still dry and warm. I was impressed.Pros: Great design, Build quality, Performance, Ease of use, Great value, modest, made in the u.s.a

This Filson jacket is a well-made, quality jacket with plenty of pockets, although I would suggest adding a lining. Only problem for me was that it felt too snug in the chest so I returned it.Pros: Great design, Build quality, Cons: a little snug

I had a filson wool jacket 25 years ago and moved to Florida. Glad to be back north where these things are still great. Well tailored, high quality wool, perfect fit. However, Large is really like a 42 long which means if you wear a large in everything else order a large.Pros: Great design, Build quality, Lasts forever, Great value
Happy with the purchase

Nice thick soft, no itch. All around cool to cold weather jacket. Enough room to add layer for colder days, but for the most parts this Filson Yukon Jacket will do the job by it's own. I'm 5'6, 155 lbs. Normally ware size medium, but I order size large, for loose fit purpose, and my glade i did, because the extra room allowed me to add thicker layers for late season hunt, here in Michigan. other wise the medium would be just fine for me. This jacket is build to lasts a lift time. Made in USA. I wish more products are. Thanks, Altrec for carry this product. What a great Filson product. This wool coat is light weight but, warm. It fits true to size and built tough. The wool suprised me by being extremely soft next to skin, quite like merino wool is. The styling of this jacket allows me to wear it on a night out on the town as well to my professional job. Way to go Altec for carrying this brand!

Im glad I decided to buy this jacket. It is very comfortable, warm, and fits just big enough I can wear it over a sport jacket. I bought a small in brown, I am 5'6 140lbs .. it is a bit big without a sports jacket but with a scarf it looks fine. The color brown is great, almost seems to have a plum like color in it. Soft and comfortable wool, at first I thought I would prefer it to have a liner but I like it as it is, without a liner.Pros: Great design, Build quality, Lasts forever, Performance, Ease of use, Great value
