Although this shirt that I bought for my wife is of the excellent quality I've come to expect from Filson, we were disappointed to find that FILSON is stitched into the chest pocket in bold, thick black thread. That's a deal breaker for us, and I returned the shirt. Fits large so if in doubt size down.

This is a great, classic plaid shirt. The fabric is soft, heavy, and warm. The shirt runs just a tiny bit big (I'm 5'10" and 125 lbs, got size small) but I like a little room to allow for layering. The only thing to consider is that this is a 100% cotton shirt. Consequently, I wouldn't recommend it if you are going to be sweating or rained on. I like this shirt for relaxed car-camping trips but it probably won't make it into the pack for back country trips due to the weight.
