I.C.E. stands for "Integrated Climbing Equipment," Montrail's patented combination of boots, crampons and gaiters that gives mountaineers and ice climbers a custom fit with reduced bulk. Developed by Montrail and Outdoor Research, this boot-top gaiter is a perfect companion for all three Montrail I.C.E. 9 boots and I.C.E. crampons. It features a wide Velcro® closure up front that makes attachment or adjustments easy even when you're wearing gloves. The hooks and webbing attach easily and completely to any I.C.E. boot so you never have to hassle with compromises or impromptu mountainside tailor jobs.
