A great way to boost your exercise
I have just started running. I love this watch and have been steadily increasing my pace. Auto sync loads your data to your PC automatically. I keep the stic in the USB drive. I have not used it on my road or mt bike yet, but plan to soon. Well worth the investment.

Not for Runners who sweat a lot!
I bought the Forerunner 405 with HRM just prior to an extended deployment to Iraq. I sweat heavily during my runs and I found the watch would lock up or cycle between screens without any input from me. I have been very disappointed with this watch and think with the price you pay, it should be reasonable to expect water resistance from the watch. It has become an overpriced HRM and not the mileage tracking device I had hoped it would be. I expected more from Garmin!

Love my Garmin watch
I absolutely love this watch. It tracks your mileage and speed with running and biking. I have been using it for my training. You can plan your workouts ahead of time. Great purchase

Super!
This GPS is extremely easy to use; software for training great. The program offers a number of different ways to monitor your progress (e.g. time, speed, HR, elevation, etc). Satellite connection is strong in wooded areas. Easy to transition between run and bike workouts. Love the ability to construct your own workout. However, I've yet to beat my virtual training partner!

Great for techy, gear-minded runners. Very accurate!
This is the Rolls Royce of GPS units for runners and cyclists and is a great value for the price - especially if you commute on your bike or run every day. Garmin finally made a wrist friendly unit for both men and women that actually pauses the time and distance when you get stuck waiting for cars or at cross walks. This is real gear for real athletes
