A seam taped GORE-TEX® XCR® lining underneath the suede and mesh upper protects your feet from water seepage, leaving your feet dry and comfortable. Barely over a pound, the Garmont Flash XCR Hiking Shoe relies on the integrated G3+ Spine structure to provide stability and cushioning. Immediately above the outsole, a thermal plastic urethane grid offers a stable platform for hiking surfaces that are abruptly uneven yet also encourages easy forefoot flex. Then, to soften the ride, a sheet of lightweight polyurethane is sandwiched between this grid and theVibram® outsole. A description of the Garmont Flash XCR Hiking Shoe for men is not complete without mentioning Garmont's Anatomically Directed Design® elements, a series of innovative construction modifications that improve comfort. An example is the lateral tongue post.
