One of the best Shoes...
I have ever owned. I like the form and most importantly the function. They do fit true to size. They are both great on the trail and around town.

Great Kick Around Shoe
I'm no mountain climber, or even an "approach guy" but these shoes are very comfortable for regaular kicking around. Wear them for most everything and anything. Good support, good look. Size a little small. Had to go to a 10.5 versus my regular 10. Return service from Altec was great.

Great approach shoe
I found that these fit true to size. I wear an 8.5 and the 8.5 fit on the spot! They feel super lightweight and the edging is nice for more technical approaches. The rubber is sticky... for the first few months of wear sometimes I'd pick up stones on the bottom! Really nice shoes; they have lasted almost a year with abusive wear, and they are still going strong.

Beefy footwear
These shoes are perfect as approach footwear. They are beefy enough to be supportive but light enough for casual use.

They work !
When I received my Sticky Cats, and started to wear them around the house, I wasn't sure about the fit. They were tight across my instep and after a while, they rubbed my little toes. So I took them off and thought about it. I have a tough foot to fit. 91/2, wide ball of the foot and a D "d" heel, high instep and arch. So taking all of that into consideration, I altered the lacing system a bit, put them back on and They Work! Great for almost any kind of rock scrambling and running up some very steep slickrock. Again, THEY WORK!!
